Critical: ProfessionalismWent in asked for gel manicured and pedicure. They never asked me to wash my hands (all salons I have been to lately do). I asked them not to use a drill on my nails they seem to be upset with my request after trying to justify using a drill started with a file which was fine. A man sitting clipping his toenails made smart remarks about how long they had been doing nails. I told him I was the customer that’s what I asked for. I said they didn’t need my business and left. Went in asked for gel manicured and pedicure. They never asked me to wash my hands (all salons I have been to lately do). I asked them not to use a drill on my nails they seem to be upset with my request after trying to justify using a drill started with a file which was fine. Arrived at 10, when they opened, only 2 people working. Shortly after another employee arrived. Long story short, we were there an hour and a half for 2 pedicures. My daughter actually got a decent massage and nail cleaning, I did not. Rushed through the whole thing, wouldn’t cut my daughters toe nails, said they were already short enough. And Color samples don’t match actual polish.

I love this place. They have the best service and the best employees. Ask for Tyler, he does everything so perfect. Dont let Hannah do your nails. EVERY TIME she does my acrylics, she always cuts my cuticles with the file. They will bleed for days after my nail appointment. She should not be allowed to do acrylics. But Tyler does an amazing job, he has never cut me. He helps me pick out colors and can hold a conversation. 5/5 stars!!! I posted a photo of short yellow acrylics showing the damage Hannah did to my nails, if you can find it in the photo section, hopefully it will help you when deciding who you’ll let do your nails there.

I felt very rushed. My pedicure only last about 15 minutes. I paid for a deluxe, but there was nothing deluxe about it. Barely any massage, and hot towels?- what hot towels?! They weren’t busy (only 2 other people in the salon) and I felt like they wanted me gone as soon as possible. While my toes were drying one man even came over and turned off the dryer and stuck out his hand so I would pay him. I have lived in Jefferson for a long time, and have been to Golden Nail many times, but it just keeps getting worse. This will be the last time I visit this nail salon.
