Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityI’ve been to this shop many times but the last two visits, arrived half hour early to get in line and wait. Each time, doors did not open on time. Always 10 mins after 10am. Only 1 tech there, the rest straggled in at 10:30am. When my name was finally called, the older woman (I think the mother) was EXTREMELY rude to me. I had my 2 yr old strapped beside me in a stroller and of course he was whining impatiently after having had to wait a long time. She was already rushing trying to hurry up and get us out (which I sort of appreciated) but began snatching things out of his reach, it was clear he was annoying her. I asked her a question about nail filing since this was my first time getting my nails cut down and she immediately started screwing lids on her jars and stood up advising she could not do my nails. Claimed she’d just started working on them and evidently didn’t appreciate my question. I was very respectful and confused by her abrupt and unprofessional behavior. I think she was tired of my son and just wanted us out. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE SERVICE! I will NEVER return to this incompetent, inept “salon” and would advise you take your coins elsewhere. They do not respect your time or money. I’ve been to this shop many times but the last two visits, arrived half hour early to get in line and wait. Each time, doors did not open on time. Always 10 mins after 10am. Only 1 tech there, the rest straggled in at 10:30am. When my name was finally called, the older woman (I think the mother) was EXTREMELY rude to me. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityIve been trying to find a good nail salon closer to my house and I definitely found it yesterday evening! I got french tip acrylics and couldn’t be happier. I also expressed how I like my nails short and not long at all. And the lady really came through with a great final product. Critical: ProfessionalismI’ve been visiting gold nails since they opened and I’ve usually gotten satisfactory service but today was a changing point. The owners were rude and didn’t listen to me. It seemed like they were so busy and ill they didn’t care. I usually tip well and am very cordial so I don’t understand what changed today. I won’t be back. I’ve been visiting gold nails since they opened and I’ve usually gotten satisfactory service but today was a changing point. The owners were rude and didn’t listen to me. It seemed like they were so busy and ill they didn’t care. I usually tip well and am very cordial so I don’t understand what changed today. I won’t be back. The only reason I didn’t give 1 star is because they have previously done a decent job.

Critical: QualityMe and my daughter went for a pedicure. They informed me once our feet are already soaking that they couldn’t do regular polish (gel only). I don’t want gel on a 3 year old. They said it was because of the virus that they couldn’t use regular polish. Me and my daughter went for a pedicure. They informed me once our feet are already soaking that they couldn’t do regular polish (gel only). I don’t want gel on a 3 year old. They said it was because of the virus that they couldn’t use regular polish. I proceeded to inform them that they all have to be brushed on like regular polish so what’s the difference? ‍♀️ ‍♀️ They also tried to charge me $5 a mask.

Critical: QualityNail tech didn’t follow directions at all! When asked to trim cuticles he said, it’s too late….maybe next time”! The finished product wasn’t satisfactory and when I complained I was told it was my fault because my nails were long and because of the color I picked! That place is a joke!!Service: Manicure
