Critical: Professionalism, QualityWent in for a trim of my very long hair. Booked a shampoo and cut. Sunny dry cut my hair, taking 10″ off, I asked for 2″, maybe 3″ if they were really bad ends, and THEN shampoo’d my now shoulder length hair. Add insult to injury, she layered my hair, again without asking. I asked for a blunt, straight trim… this will take 12-18 months to grow out. She clearly does not know what she’s doing. second picture was taken 2 weeks ago, what my hair looked like before it was cut..UPDATE; Manager has refunded my money and is sincerely upset about what happened. Sunny dry cut my hair, taking 10″ off, I asked for 2″, maybe 3″ if they were really bad ends, and THEN shampoo’d my now shoulder length hair. Good haircut. Very efficient. Barber only talked about how much tip she thought she deserved. Became rude when I didnt have as much cash as her expected tip. She was negotiating the tip before the haircut session. I told her I didn’t have as much cash as she wanted in addition to the haircut cost. She accepted me on her barber chair and then became rude when I didnt want yo use my credit card to give her additional money as tip.

I am an employee at the Pentagon and I was horribly disrespected by one of the female Barbers whose booth is located on the left hand side of the shop. She is the only employee at the barbershop who overcompensates for her unprofessional methods of speed cutting by attempting to overdress for her position. Today she refused to cut my hair and offered no explanation to me as a paying patron as to why. Yet on the contrary I have always observed her behavior towards patrons who happen to be White and she is very cordial and courteous towards them. As I was leaving and requesting the name of a supervisor an employee responded by telling that their Supervisor’s name was “D”. This place is totally unprofessional and an establishment that is ethnically biased towards white men. I plan on trying to locate the Supervisor “D” tomorrow morning. This is unfortunate particularly at the Pentagon.
