This being my first facial, I was slightly nervous, but as soon as I walked in, the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming which made my never completely disappear. The spa itself was beautiful, organized, and extremely clean. The girls at the front desk were so nice and set a great tone for the experience! My aesthetician was Kathleen and she was absolutely amazing. The 30 minute facial felt so good and quite literally left my skin GLOWing. She constantly checked on me and explained each aspect of the facial and what it was doing to rejuvenate my skin. The conversation was great and flowed super easily. I am writing this review a few days later and my skin has honestly never looked better. If you are looking for a confidence boosting and relaxing day that will leave you feeling great? So here’s the scoop on the Glow Bar Westport, When I walked in I was greeted warmly at 9am in the morning wow how nice! Then I was directed to the sinks where you wash your own face and pat is dry with terrycloth face towel fancy. Then I was greeted by my therapist and she took me into a sanctuary simple no frills spa room and asked me to lay down. The facial was simple quick and relaxing. I definitely was glowing at the end whatever they use to moisturize sure does live up to their “Glow” campaign. So why not 5 stars you ask, well firstly the music was too loud and not spa like at all really rough playlist for a sp. Secondly the theropist was not clear about recommendations of facial products, nor did she ask me my skin concerns or skin type. Then at the end of the facial she awkwardly walked me out to a shelf of different products, pointed to an $85 toner and mumbled something again like I think this is good for you. I was so confused I turned to the cashier paid and tipped and ran outta there. All in all 4 stars cause mg skin felt and looked good and I did throughly enjoy the facial! I will go back also no one even asked me if I wanted to be a club member where I would get monthly facials. A miss on the sales end again. The picture was after my facial!

If you like being tortured this is your spot. The facials are rushed and very painful. Just when you think the pain is over they pull out a ridiculously bright light treatment that is blinding. I foolishly signed up for a membership day 1 and found myself dreading each monthly appointment. Stopped the madness after 6 months.

I had never been to a Glowbar location before and had always been used to receiving longer facials instead of an express one, but I was completely blown away with the results. Courtney was my esthetician and did an absolutely phenomenal job. Even though it was only 30 minutes I never felt rushed and she explained every step in the process so I knew what tools she was using and why she was using them. She was extremely knowledgeable and made sure I understood what to expect following the treatment so I was not surprised. She provided me with samples and took the time to explain how to use them and have me her recommendations on how to improve my skincare routine to maintain the results from my facial. I will definitely be back!
