I was a bit surprised by the one reviewer who had such a bad experience. I completely disagree on every point she wrote! I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Kent or his staff. True, there is a landscaping project in progress in front of the building’s exterior but that does not in any way impact the capabilities of Dr. Kent – and I have been a patient for almost 2 years now. I’ve always loved the reception area of the office and find it nice and cozy with an oversized fireplace and comfortable chairs. The office staff is excellent and the one time they were running late I was notified in advance before arriving at the office. I know everyone by name and have come to see them as friends rather than acquaintances who work at my doctor’s office. Dr. Kent is highly capable and I’ve had fabulous results. Lately I have tried Vanquish on my tummy and I love it. The process itself is nice and relaxing and most importantly – it works! (also the vanquish room has one of the most comfortable full body chairs I’ve ever napped on). I hope Dr. Kent’s office continues to offer new things for me to try (facials? laser hair removal?) so I keep having excuses to pop by.

First impressions are everlasting impressions. I spoke with the office on a Monday about getting a consult for the ORBERA Gastric Balloon. I was impressed that they had an opening for Thursday of the same week. I asked to be emailed the paperwork so that there wouldn’t be a delay in services, but to no avail, I didn’t receive the paper work via email. I drove up to the office and I was immediately TURNED OFF by the overgrown vegetation on the building, sidewalks…etc. I said to myself, it can’t be that bad on the inside. I got inside and the environment was dark and somewhat gloomy. The office spaces in the back needed cleaning and the common areas were cluttered. I filled out the book (about 10 pages) of paperwork and waited to be seen. I waited, I waited and I waited. I didn’t go back to get screened until an hour after my appointment. After I was placed in the room, I waited, I waited, and I waited approximately 25mins and yet there still was no sign of the doctor. The office member finally told me that DR. Kent was seeing a patient at the hospital. I was not furious at the fact that he had to see a patient, he’s a doctor! What I was pissed about was that they KNEW he was seeing a patient and allowed me to wait for over an hour to inform me of this. I drove one hour and 15 mins to get to this appointment ONLY to wait! Their office practices and COMMUNICATION SUCKS. I am glad that this type of conduct was shown BEFORE I invested thousands of dollars of my own money trying to get this procedure done. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY/DR. for your weight loss needs.
