I’ve been going since the salon opening in mid-February since they are so close to my home and near my favorite Dunkin’. The whole staff is so great. The first time I went in for a pedicure and didn’t want a full set since I’ve developed an allergy to nail glue and thought that was the only option. Thankfully, the owner, Ms. Chelsea, is an experienced nail technician with years of experience and could do sculpted nails for me and I got my first full set without issue in over a year there. It’s a bit pricier but worth it, and I love getting them done this way now and won’t go back to tips/glue thanks to her great service. They are the only salon I go to now. Every two weeks, mani and pedi for me — and it’s worth the price for the excellent quality of service. The whole team is so friendly and charming, from Phil, Jess, Lina, Jayme — all are so great! The shop is very pretty and bright and they have a cornucopia of colors and designs. As a Pinterest lover, I love finding ideas and going in and they never back down from a challenge and they are always cute! Please go here — they are efficient and kind! It’s worth a visit for sure.

Not happy. Virtually no shaping done, none of my nails are uniform in length or shape. Did not smooth acrylic well with hand-piece prior to polishing, and it looks bad. When polishing and swiping at the end, she used so much polish that a glob is at the end of each nail, making it even more bumpy and not smooth. Walking out of salon, looked as if I already had 1 week grow out at cuticle. Will not be back!

The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had! My nails are lumpy looking and the gel polish is already chipped. Very overpriced and the quality is awful. Will not be returning!

Had my lashes done here. My natural lashes were full but short and I wanted to try something new. I told the lady it was my first time. She didn’t offer any advice or suggestions about how to care for them. Later in the day I noticed my eyelids felt like they were being pierced by needles. It was my first time so I didn’t know if this was normal or not. After about a week I had 2 lashes fall off and my lashes went with them. The piercing feeling was still there but I dealt with it. About a week after that the pain was so unbearable that I had to remove them. My entire top row of lashes came off with the fake lashes. I look absolutely crazy now and it has a major affect on the way I look. Now I don’t have a choice but to wear fake lashes to feel and look normal. I’m scared to death to try anything other than strip lashes that can be removed easily. The worst experience ever and I wouldn’t go back to this place if my life depended on it.

The only reason I give this place 4 stars is due to the prices ! I know getting your nails done ain’t cheap no more but geeshhh we in inflation , but I guess everybody gotta make they money somehow . But for real other than that , the people are really really sweet , they care about your overall nail health( which is hard to find with nail techs these days) , if you an essential worker they provide a discount for you ! My nails can last over 4 WEEKS & still look nice and us ladies know that’s hard to come by as well . So overall your paying for the best quality & they also provide complimentary water , sodas, and wine !

I have been twice now to Glossy Nails and have enjoyed both experiences. Lina, formerly of Posh Nails (definitely their loss), is my go to girl for creative, beautiful and lasting mani/pedi’s. She is always open to my ideas/color suggestions and very honest about whether a design/color will go with my hand/nail shape and coloring which I genuinely appreciate. She takes her time, is very gentle and makes sure that her clients are satisfied with the finished job. I get gel on my toes which easily lasts up to 6 weeks and dip powder on my nails which even Wow’s my boyfriend. I get many compliments on my nails. For my boyfriend’s birthday she did a set in Gamecock garnet with his initials and a heart in gold glitter and even did an ombre black/garnet set for me. The shop is clean, staff are friendly and courteous. Definitely will be back and highly recommended.
