I got in touch with Glory and she was able to make an appointment for me quickly over the phone. I sent her a picture via text of what I wanted done. I received a fair price and got exactly the style I wanted! She had Dora take care of me yesterday and the style was completed fast! I did not have to bring hair for the style I wanted either which was great! I also appreciated that Glory & Dora spoke fluent English and communication was breeze.

I was looking for a salon close to Wayne NJ. Glory salon had came up I saw the reviews and got really excited thinking I was going to get great service but received the worst service in my life. I had a lady that washed my hair she used a small tooth comb that’s typically used to create parting in the hair I told her that the comb was too small because it kept pulling my hair , she tried washing my hair and didn’t mix the conditioner. I asked her if she can mix it she did so with an attitude and then changed the water to cold I asked her why it’s all of a sudden cold she mentioned that the hot water apparently finished. When washing my hair she keep intentionally pouring water on me which made no sense. It seems this was all done because I complained that she used a smaller comb that was pulling my hair this is terrible service and the worst place I’ve ever been the owner of the salon watched while this stylist Continued to do things to try and frustrate me. Please do not waste your time coming here or your money.

It was nice but they said that they had a hair color that they did not and it was hard to find parking I didn’t get the length I wanted as well but it was still a great place to get my hair done

Critical: QualityThey were nice and pleasant but I didn’t get the style that I asked for. I would of rather if she told me “I don’t know how to do (5) stitch braids on 4b hair but I can try if you want.” Instead she did two kinda sorta stitch braids on the sides and 3 regular cornrows in the middle when I asked for 5 stitch braids and the parting is off. I even showed a picture before I sat down. On top of that she braided it extremely tight that it’s pulling so much on my hairline I’ll be lucky to have any edges after taking these out. Having natural hair doesn’t mean your tender headed, not only does tight hair give headaches but can cause permanent damage or hair loss. This my first time there and I wish my experience was better. It’s sad that if you want to get your hair braided properly you always have to go outside of Paterson. I’m relieved that I found this hair braiding shop! It’s by far the cleanest and most professional shop I have ever visited. The women were punctual, had fair pricing, and gave me beautiful braids! I have 4C natural hair, and they took their time and gently prepared it for braiding. I cannot recommend them highly enough – so happy to say that I have finally found my “spot!”

Never ask her for dreads or actually anything, I’ve on a dreads process for almost 2 months and for every visit I pay $60, at the end she just put some gel on my hair and told me we finished that’s it, I thought there may be another appointment when but when I asked she told me no that’s your dreads. I paid almost over $300 for some gel on my hair?
