Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI’ll keep this simple, I went here because my previous place I use to go before taking a break is booked on my only day off, found a new tech I loved but she moved… So I’m currently shopping for a new nail salon/tech.First they are the nay sayers of nails. I asked to have my almond nails shortened, they told me no, it would look bad…. I told them I’ve had it done before but they where having none of that.I asked for this look, matte black with gold glitter… They looked at the image and said no it would look bad… everything I asked for I got an eye roll and a hard no.. (all things I thought where simple because I’d had them done a regularly at my previous places)Second the lady who did my nails rushed the whole thing, made me take my nails out of the lights before the timer. (Reasons I believe they are chipping and have been chipping sense day two after getting them done)One day off a week, every 3 weeks I go get my nails done. I don’t want to be treated like I’m annoying for asking for what I want, or like I’m an inconvenience.I was polite, and didn’t argue with them, and I still tipped my tech as I think they are told to rush people.HoweverI won’t be back and I do not recommend. Nail salons are a dime a dozen, they can do better and you can do better for your money. This was my first time trying this place as I’m new to the area. From the moment I walked in, everyone of the staff was so friendly and so welcoming. The treatments they used for the pedicure were very refreshing and fragrant. The attention to detail and the desire to ensure every customer is happy is impeccable. I will definitely be coming back for many visits and I hope my review helps others like me who are trying to find a new place for their nails. Thank you for an amazing service.

Looking for a new salon to go to. Decided to try this place out. Went on a Saturday, should have known it was not going to be good when I walked in and it was not busy at all. The old man in the way too tight pants that did my nails, rushed the entire time. Instead of soaking my gel off he filed it down and now my nails are super thin. He checked his phone multiple times. I had to file them myself when I got home the edges were sharp. Some of the sides aren’t even painted. Will not be going back.

I have been using this salon for a little over a year and after today I will NEVER be back! I called ahead of time and asked if they were busy and if they could squeeze me in for a new dip powder set. They told me they were not busy so I came in.

Never coming back here again. It was stupid expensive, they charged extra for EVERYTHING (extra for lotion, extra for longer nails AND extra for extensions and extra for just SHAPING ALMOND NAILS, etc.) On top of that, the lady that worked on my nails left me with several cuts on my fingers that all BLED, and even AFTER making one of my fingers bleed enough that she used alcohol and a piece of cotton to stop the bleeding she continued filling my nails in the SAME savage way until almost ALL of my fingers were injured and I lost patience with her and politely asked her to please be more gentle on my skin. One day later my fingers STILL hurt. I have cuts on almost all ten of my fingers from how she filed my nails!

This is the rudest nail salon I have ever been to. I have been multiple times, never greated friendly or to made feel welcome or like an actual customer. I usually get mine filled and the nail tech refused to fill it and told me to go back to my other salon then. I ended up soaking them off and paying for a new set, which they charge for a soak off now! My nail broke within 3 days and I tried to go back twice and they wouldn’t see me and told me to come back later. I’m never offered a drink but see them bringing drinks to others. I went to a hair salon and was talking about it and two other patrons said they are the rudest place and they would not ever return there. The lady that answered the phone fixed my nail the other day finally and was very nice. But, they don’t treat people well and charge way too much for the level of service.

Long time lees summit resident so I’ve frequented glo since being in high school, i’m now 30. I walked in today like i normally do and asked for a gel full set. All the nail techs (that i could see in the front) were busy so i was greeted, told to pick a color and that someone would be with me. After waiting for about 10 mins, the store phone rings and a tech answers (I’m assuming to schedule) she proceeds to ask the customer if they are “coming now?” Says “ok” and hangs up the phone. 2 mins later two white girls come in saying that they had just called for a dip full set with acrylic. The nail tech responds by saying “wow you guys were fast” in which they agree that they had just been down the street when they called and asked to come in. Immediately both girls were serviced and asked to sit down, begin to show the designs they wanted and received soak off services despite not having an appointment. Meanwhile I was never acknowledged again after being there before both women.
