Service was nice. I had a good experience getting my nails done here. I paid $35 for a basic gel manicure. Two days after I got my nails done. They started chipping and cracking. I was extremely disappointed and felt a bit scammed for paying that price for nails that didn’t last more than 2 days. I was recommended this place by a friend but I won’t be coming back.

My sister and I came in there around 1pm today and had by far the worst experience ever. I asked both the ladies that did our toes for a “regular pedicure “, we noticed while they were doing them they were different and the lady doing my nails reassured me that we were both getting regular. After when I asked why they were different and went to pay they told me my sister had asked for a deluxe pedicure, despite her being on the phone when they asked me my answering the question. When I told them I didn’t want the deluxe we asked for regular they said we still have to pay the extra charge for it because we already received the service, which is fair. I continued to ask for an itemized receipt which they denied me, so I don’t know what I spent $200 for. I was just trying to treat my sister for her graduation and left feeling robbed. So if you’re okay having services given to you without asking and then paying for something you didn’t want by all means go here.

We have a standing appointment every other Friday. They really take care of us. Would recommend this place to everyone.

I’m going to start by mentioning that this was my third and last time coming here. The very first time I came to Glamour and requested an acrylic full set, the nail tech named Kathy started arguing with me on how dip powder is better (and more expensive) and that is what she is doing. I said “ok, let’s try it out”. One week later one of my nails cracks, and another one completely falls off. The second time I came for another full set, this time requesting another tech. Unfortunately, I don’t remember her name, it was an older lady and she did an amazing job, I had requested a complicated design and she did great. Today I came back at around 12:30 pm, with a bunch of nail techs greeting me with eye rolls. Not one of them said a simple “hello”. I, again, requested an acrylic set since those tend to hold on my nails much longer. The first tech I had a disagreement with, Kathy, started working on my nails. I remembered her and kept clarifying that I want an acrylic full set, and she kept saying “yeah, a dip”. I ended up stopping her before she got to put any product on my nails and making sure that I am getting an acrylic set. She kept telling me that dip is better and that it will last me much longer. I had to remind her that when she did my nails the first time, they were gone by the end of the first week due to her poor skills. She yelled for another tech to come, and left the station without any explanation. Sandy, the nail tech that was sent to me, was trying her very best, which is much appreciated, however, it was obvious that she’s new to this and doesn’t have the steps down. I have been getting my nails done every 3 weeks, with a few breaks, for about 6 years now. I can tell when a tech doesn’t know what they are doing. Me and Sandy were communicating every step of the way and I had to “micromanage” the process. Did I end up loving my nails? No. Am I going to ever come back? No. I do not recommend this place. They need to stop up selling dip nail sets, they are a lot easier to do than acrylic nails, but they are also much more fragile and will get cracks/lifting/breakage with a higher probability than the good old acrylics.

I went over a week ago to get dip nails done, since i had heard a lot of good reviews. I showed her a picture and the first lady told me it was easy to do and could be done. The lady assigned to do my nails seemed like she didn’t really know what she was doing. She made a deep cut in my skin which still hasn’t healed entirely, and It was super untidy. I had to ask a different lady to clean out the remaining hardened dip powder from around my nails before i left, she didn’t do a good job either and i had to come home and tweeze it out myself. its barely been over a week and my dip has cracks in them which has never happened before. They are also super clumpy and don’t look natural at all even though i just got plain white nails since she couldn’t do the tip like i had asked for. I was really excited to get my nails done before vacation but i was super disappointed with how it turned out even after paying so much, safe to say i will not return to this place to get my nails done again.
