Positive: Professionalism, ValueSolange and her team are amazing! Back in March 2018 I had my bridal trial with her and I have been going back to her ever since! My hair and makeup lasted through the heat of a July wedding. My bridesmaids, the moms and I were all pleased with the results of our hair and makeup. Now, I still see Solange for my haircuts and color. Her prices are fair and her work is exceptional every time! Solange and her team are amazing! Back in March 2018 I had my bridal trial with her and I have been going back to her ever since! My hair and makeup lasted through the heat of a July wedding. My bridesmaids, the moms and I were all pleased with the results of our hair and makeup. Now, I still see Solange for my haircuts and color. Solange even helped me on my wedding day, change my hairstyle completely from what I did at our trial (I’m sure that was enough pressure in itself) and she ROCKED IT! I felt like a princess! She was able to do hair for 14 women flawlessly and even gladly re-did a few styles because some girls changed their mind! When I first received the timeline she made up I was a little nervous because it seemed like we would be tight on time, but she assured me she could do it and was able to get through everyone with time to spare even after being a few minutes late due to no fault of her own!! Solange was absolutely amazing for my 9/20 wedding! She was extremely quick and pleasurable to work with! She was able to do hair for 14 women flawlessly and even gladly re-did a few styles because some girls changed their mind! Critical: QualityHi hired Glamour Me Briidal for my wedding that was on August 29, 2020. I found the company through a Facebook page MI&RI wedding planning page which people gave me their information. I spoke with the owner Solange who was the one hired to do hair for my wedding. I received a very strange email from her 3 weeks before the wedding pretty much just stating if she were to contract the corona virus I would still have services but would be given to her assistant Katie. She state this was in her contract. I reviewed her contact and it did state if anyone hired were to get sick, run into a family emergency etc. that the services would be given to another stylist. So in my head ( where my sister is a owner of a hair salon in Marion, Ma here and I thought it was both weird she felt she needed to send an email stating that where it was already stated in a contract.( side note I only had my sister do my hair because she was my matron of honor and also now at this point 38 weeks pregnant and the two workers she hired we needed an extra stylist to help with hair because her stylist was also doing make up)I immediately thought I was def being set up. I spoke to Solange Sunday before my wedding and everything was as planned. THE DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING she sends would a text saying “her and her daughter” where sick since SUNDAY. Although I still to this day don’t really believe it, and shame on me if it was really true, but my gut tells me otherwise. Already as a stressed out bride that was something I didn’t need to hear. ESP. If it was since Sunday why wouldn’t she have mentioned something or given the heads up then?Long story short, I was given her assistant Katie. Katie did show up on time. Although she made me move everything I had set up for the girls because she “needed the space”. The two girls my sister had with us all brought their own tables, beauty round lights AND chairs. ( which being a stylist going to a hotel to do hair you should know) anyways, her set up was extremely messy. And her hair styles were terrible. My sister ended up having to fix everyone’s hair but 1 out of 6. A bride should NEVER have to experience this on her wedding day. I informed the owner immediately, and she reduced the amount we had to pay and said she would speak with the stylist, Which was nice of her to do. A fews days after my wedding, she sent me an email offering service with her free of charge. I just didn’t response because at this point nothing could make up what happened on my wedding day and the stress both myself and my sister who was very pregnant stressed out fixing everyone’s hair.
