I have been going to Ariele for Brazilian Blowouts for the past year, and she gives the best Brazilian Blowout I’ve ever had! I go every 3 months, and I used to go to very high end salons in Chicago for the past 7 years, and have been to Serenity of Chesterton multiple times in the past few years, and Ariele has given me the best Brazilian Blowout I’ve ever had every time! The results are perfectly smooth, frizz free, but not stick straight every time! I couldn’t recommend her more for a perfect Brazilian Blowout every time!

I’ve been going to Glamour Hair Design since I moved to Valparaiso in 2012 and it has been a wonderful experience every time. I see Mayte at Glamour Hair Design. She always is super understanding when I need a quick appointment and always tries to accommodate my schedule. She is professional, trendy and always does an amazing job. Love the atmosphere! All the hairstylists are very professional and have years working with a variety amount of hair. They always try their best to work not only with their schedule but also yours! I have struggled finding a hair salon that would truly give me a service that I would be happy with, but Glamour Hair Design has truly changed that! I would highly recommend coming here!

Let me just say that I LOVE this salon. I have been seeing Mayte for a few years and she is fantastic. I have very curly difficult to manage hair. Mayte is always able to gently detangle my hair, apply perfect color, thoroughly wash and condition, blowout, straighten, and cut my hair . The stylists at Glamour Hair Design are talented and experienced. I have never found a stylist who can handle my natural hair and give me perfect results. My baby shower is tomorrow, and Mayte just did a new look for me. My only suggestion is to ask about pricing beforehand. I often do the same color, cut, and style.This most recent time I changed the color technique, and the price was almost double what I normally pay and expect. Nonetheless, I love my new look and will not go anywhere else to get my hair done.

I had a haircut today and was super pleased. Mayte cut my hair which is very thick and she knew exactly what to do. She made good suggestions and taught me a few things. Cost is right. Atmosphere is pleasant. She is personable. Highly recommended.

Great place. Have been looking for a great place to do my hair and do something new… like the new hair colors that are in style and a great cut. I have always went to hairy cuttery but the last two times I was there I was really disappointed in my cuts not only that but was very disappointed in the color. So as I was looking on Instagram I came across some pictures that I seen Mayte had posted. I decided to give her a call since the pictures of hair cuts and color looked amazing. Well… I’m very happy that I found this place and that i found my hairstylist forever. BIG SHOUT OUT TO MAYTE!!! YOU ARE THE BEST GIRL. ♀️ still loving my hair and getting lots of compliments from everyone.

I went to glamour with my mother in law hoping to get our hair done and have a good time. When we went we both explained that we wanted full color and highlights. I had also mentioned that I did not want a hair cut. So fast forward to the end, you could not even see her highlights and when she asked about it got told they would be more defined next time and then still charged her full price! When the girl was doing mine she was very persistent about cutting my hair despite the fact that I had not wanted it done. I had said that I would rather not cut it and let it grow out. She cut it anyway, and charged me for it. Upon leaving neither of us were very happy, and did I mention that the owners daughter was the one doing my hair? So about a week goes by and my hair does not look anything like what it had when we left, it is faded and my high lights look nonexistent, and my mother in law is still not happy about her highlights. So she calls and asks if we could come back in and get it fixed up. When she went in the owner was rude as ever! Would barley speak to her when doing her hair saying there wasn’t anything wrong. Then told me that I needed to wait for her daughter to come in and talk to me because she was not going to get in the middle of it. Her daughter comes in and is beyond defensive about my cut and color fading. Then tells me to come back another day, I told her that I had called and was told it would be done today (I work and was frustrated about getting told all this stuff and nothing happening). So she asked another stylist to do it and she did a great job. But while doing my mother in laws hair the owner was very rude saying my daughter dosnt lie and is very professional going on about how I must be lying and making this up!

Critical: ProfessionalismI called in last week on Wednesday and made an appointment for today the 19th at 5pm. Called in just now to confirm my time and the lady on the phone said she could no find my appointment and couldn’t get me in till the 27th. Called in just now to confirm my time and the lady on the phone said she could no find my appointment and couldn’t get me in till the 27th.
