They have very good professionals working there. Dani does a great job with wax, Katheleen is the best one with eyebrows and Neide can give you amazing acrylic nails! Their schedule is always very busy but I’d suggest you to get an appointment early on the day.

I go there for my barber Eddie and let me tell you, this man is the best barber in Newark, and may very well be the best in New Jersey. His cuts are precise and can be so detailed at times that i sometimes cant even come up with words to explain what i see. Eddie use to be my go-to barber in Ferry Barber shop, but now i found him and im never letting go! I definitely recommend everyone to go and get a haircut by him. Prices are definitely reasonable, $20 for a haircut and i believe $25 for hair and beard (dont quote me on that).

I went to this salon three time but the last time it was horrible. This happened a few months ago. The salon it was almost empty and I was having my nails done and I hearded the employees having a a racist conversation. There was one saying that black people are ugly, the other one saying that her kid was asking if he was black and she said no and he felt relieved, another one said she has some black family members but she is thankful that she is not black. I left this place and I promised to myself that I will never go back there. I that day I cried. My father is Portuguese but my mom is African descendant. I’m very proud of the black blood that I carry on my veins. I believe they all need to reflect and understand that all colors are beautiful. And being different is normal. They don’t know how hard life it was and it is from Africans. They need more love in their hearts. I hope they rethink their ideas.
