I think after searching and searching here in Anchorage I’ve finally found a nail tech who can give me exactly what it is that I want. Tina (I believe that’s her name I forgot to ask ) Really brought my nails to life. I showed her an inspo pic and she did it exactly like the photo. My only suggestion is to BOOK AHEAD OF TIME if you need a fancy set. I believe she’s the only one available to do the elaborate designs and nail shapes. It’s not too crowded and her adorable baby girl bops around the shop it’s so cute. It’s just a very warm atmosphere. I’d totally recommend Glamorous Nails.

The people here are lovely and kind; however I had an appt and originally wanted dip powder and the person who does that wasn’t there; so I did a regular gel polish. This took an hour and half to do my nails, with removing outgrown dip nails and putting a solid color on short nails. I was told the gel polish would last two weeks and they chipped within two days. Cheap prices, and friendly service but I now need to get them redone way sooner than necessary.

I used to go to 907 nails but the manager there kept messing up my nails. I decided I would give glamorous nails a shot and I was 100 % impressed. I got a dip and the color was so even! They spent Alot of time perfecting the shape and ensuring a nice taper in the back of my nail bed so there isn’t lift when they grow out.

This was my first time here. I got a basic manicure and the woman buffed off the skin on my pinky finger leaving it stinging and enflamed for a couple days. I asked for regular polish and was happy with my Christmas themed nails…until one by one they started falling off in full pieces as if they were stick on nails! Less than 24 hours after having them done! I’d never seen anything like that before and the woman I spoke to said that’s why they recommend gel nails…because they last longer. Really??! That’s unacceptable that their regular polish lasted only one day! Normally my nails last about 10 days to a couple weeks. My friend got gel nails and even hers started chipping away within 2-3 days after we went in! To top it all off, they wouldn’t refund my money. They said they could only offer to fix them. I had no confidence in their product after that and didn’t want to waste more of my time. I won’t be back and can’t recommend them to anyone.
