Best salon I have ever been to! Tara did an amazing job transforming my hair into exactly what I wanted. The entire staff was welcoming and made me feel comfortable, not pretentious at all. I’ve lived in Florida since September of 2021 and since the time I’ve gotten 1 subpar haircut and 2 haircuts that will forever be in the top 5 bad haircuts of my life. I was about ready to jump in a plane to revisit my last great hair cutter in Baltimore….then I tried Glam Kitty. Not only did I get a fantastic haircut, but it was very modestly priced. The overall vibe was good and everyone was personable. I will definitely be back.

Wow, I love this place! I moved from out of state earlier this year. I know it can be hard to find a great hair stylist, but Glam Kitty and Haley exceeded my expectations. I have been here 3 different times and each time I am so thrilled with how my hair looks. Haley does blonde highlights and a cut, my blonde looks so beautiful and natural. I love the salon, the decor is great, the music is perfect and the shampooer chairs and bowls are so comfy! Prices are very reasonable and I love the energy of the salon. The employees work well together and I love seeing the gorgeous hair that each stylist creates. This salon is open Wednesday through Sunday, with Thursday being their late night. I’m so happy I found this place on Google!

I go to Diana for my blow outs and she always does a great job. My hair is super curly and thick not many people can get it straight but she does an amazing job at calming this frizz and making my hair super straight and silky. I drive over an hour just to see her and it’s so worth it! Hairstyling

They’re all nice people but clearly only have experience with people who are white with straight/wavy hair. They don’t know how to use diffusers which was surprising. I paid for a blow out and when I asked for a diffuser to dry it they said they wouldn’t be able to fully dry it (they were using it wrong so of course it would take longer). They also don’t know how to blow dry bangs on people with curly hair (mine isn’t super kinky either) and they asked me to do it for them. They cut my bangs too short both times I went because I don’t think they know that with certain hair textures you can only texturize/thin it so much before it looks bad. They gave me a pretty good hair cut the first time overall minus the short bangs but the second time they gave me short bangs again AND couldn’t use a diffuser so I paid for a blow out and walked out with damp hair. And yes I did call them out for botching my bangs.

I should have known it was going to be bad when she started cutting my hair without even putting a cape on me. I asked for about 2 inches off and lots of layers to give my hair some volume. I went in with mid-length hair and left with chin length. A good 6-8 inches gone… the reason I didn’t speak up is because I asked for a few shorter layers, but by the time I realized she was cutting it ALL short, it was too late. Not even that, but it is at least 5 different lengths all around. She (Diana) also kept trying to upsell and talk me into getting a design in my undercut, color, and bring my partner in to get his hair cut. But I’m obviously not going back. Thankfully I have an appointment somewhere else to hopefully fix the damage. I understand people have to learn and practice, but at least let the client know before you sit them in the chair.
