I hate posting negative reviews but I’ve truly never had a manicure this bad before and I’d rather someone else not make my mistake. I went for an acrylic refill + gel mani two days ago with my mom when I was in town. I booked my appointment weeks in advance to make sure they had availability and time for us. The nail tech paid so much attention to detail and took such care in shaping my nails that I was pretty excited. But the gel manicure was very clearly rushed and did not have enough time under the light. Not even 48 hours later one nail has completely peeled, every other nail has bubbled up, others have split, some nails don’t even have enough paint on them, and I just had to book an appointment to have them redone at my regular spot. TWO DAYS LATER!

I fell upon Gladys Nail Salon by chance. I called, they seemed busy, but she said come on in. On a busier than normal Friday, Claudia gave me a regular polish mani/pedi. Though busy, she was patient, asked me about what I would like, and took her time. I was impressed that my finger nails last as long as they did, which may be because I brought my own color polish (not a base or top coat).
