Alright so it was a first-time visit. Came in for a very basic men’s haircut. Buzzed on the back and sides & whatever on top, I’m not picky. It started off great, seemed very attentive. Then people started flooding in, like 3 people in 5 minutes. Mind you this guy’s alone. I could sense the shift in his demeanor, he started rushing, getting a bit sloppy. Long story short, I ended up with a very obvious rushed job. The back was cockeyed, like nowhere near level. He showed it to me in the mirror, I nodded. Whatever to get me out. Sure, I could have said something, but at that point if he couldn’t see how blatantly obviously uneven it was, I wouldn’t want any more work done.

Was a good spot. Was coming here for about 7 months. Aaron is a cool owner and barber. Jose was my main barber. Came here today at 448 and door was locked. He had 1 more person and I am regular person. I also tip him 7 bucks each time. And he brushed me off. Can’t believe it. A regular customer who tips and was their 12 min before closing. YOU LOST A REGUALR CUSTOMER.

They only had one barber working on a Saturday afternoon and the barber was very slow. And inexplicably a woman (who perhaps washed hair) pulled out two large bottles of hard alcohol and offered the people waiting a drink. Whether or not she was serious or joking — it was completely inappropriate, I was there with my two kids. Completely unprofessional and classless. I walked out and will not be returning.

This is an excellent barbershop. They’re quick, they actual use scissors to cut your hair, they give you a hot foam shave for your neck and it’s very reasonably priced. You’re going to spend the same amount at Supercuts but you’ll get a much better haircut at g&j barbershop while supporting your local community.

Absolutely the best! All should go here. Friendly, fast and very affordable!!!First off for myself not only does he do the best haircut I’ve had, better then place I went to for years, but he does it in literally no time. I am in and done in under 25min easily to be honest prolly much less. He also does the old school hot shaving cream as well most places don’t do it. Now I also have 3 kids 6,3,2 and he gets them all done in under 40 min… today I was done w all 3 in like 30min. And again his haircuts are perfect and the best my kids have ever gotten. So highly recommend this barber shop! Don’t go anywhere else!
