I moved back to the city after being away 5 years, and my trusted hair salon closed. I had to find a new hairdresser – one who would listen, but also one I could trust with a natural artistic talent. Giovanni is it! I had come in for color, either balayage and root tint or foils and single process. I told him I wanted to keep in the warm caramel and golden hues, and right away he confidently chose foils and single process as the best way to color my naturally curly locks. He mixed the color by sight! He also added a conditioning toner during the wash process, included in the price, and it turned out better than I could imagine. He is a definite character with natural colorist talent and worldly professional skills. The salon itself is part of a threading studio- clean, but not luxe by any means. But he is affordable (120ish vs some terrible 300+ equivalents), and WELL worth it!
