I got my hair cut by Gino himself. I just barged in on a Tuesday afternoon without an appointment and he was so accommodating though he was about to leave for the day he stayed back and did my haircut. What a sweet person and his 43 years of experience just showed on my hair. I got beautiful haircut and those layers he did added some good volume. I love how my hair looked after the chop. One happy customer here and highly recommend this place for haircut.

I’ve been going to Gino for 32 years, since I was introduced to him by Gov. Jim Thompson, who was his client for decades as well. Gino does wonderful work, and always tries to accommodate a busy schedule. The haircuts are perfect and are come with a good dose of Sicilian wisdom and humor! Couldn’t recommend Gino more highly.

I bounced around a number of different salons in Chicago before I finally found Gino’s. Gino himself is such a wonderfully pleasant man who greets you by name and treats you like family. Not only is the experience wonderful, like visiting an old friend, he provides consistently excellent haircuts I’m excited about every time (a rarity for me). While he doesn’t use online scheduling, giving him a call has been somehow even easier and more convenient. Overall, just an excellent and pleasant experience in every way. 100% recommend.
