This is my $80 mani/pedi. I was visiting from out of town and called the week before to get an appointment at 9am on Monday. The nail tech showed up at 9:30am. Not a huge deal. I wanted acrylics, she didnt do those. Not a big deal. She did gels and said they should last 3 weeks. I went to pay. She didnt accept credit card, so I had to run a nd get cash from the ATM. It was $65 for mani/pedi. As you know you cant withdrawal in $5 increments. So, I gave her a $15 tip. This was fine, because she did work hard. But what really is rotten that a week later the nail polish loosened on the nails and fell off. By then it was too late to go back and get it repaired. I dont think the workmanship eas bad, I think the nail polish was cheap and old.

Made an appt with Jessica for 5/7/22 for a haircut & color. We touched base throughout the week and then 2 days before my appt, she sends me a text message saying she double booked her schedule and could we move the appt to 5/14? I gave her the benefit of the doubt & agreed to move the appt. On Friday, 5/13/22, I sent Jessica a message regarding the appt and she replied that we were still on. THEN, at 10 pm that same night, she sends me a message stating she has a family emergency and has to cancel the appt and “can we reschedule for an evening during the week”. While I would never wish ill-will on anyone, I found it a little too odd that she was, yet again, cancelling my appt at the last minute. Sent the owner an email, no reply. Sent the salon a FB PM, no reply. Sent Jessica a text message, no reply. Really? Is this how businesses are run here? Seems they only care about their current clientele and not getting new clients. Will take my business, and my money, elsewhere.
