We took our daughter in to get her hair done with Lexi. Lexi helped me pick out a cute style that my daughter could sit through. She helped me order the weave needed for her style (I did order the wrong color by mistake). Lexi took her time and interacted very well with my daughter. Desi loves her and considers her a friend. The work looks AMAZING and is very reasonably priced. The salon was very clean, and everyone treated us like family. Great environment. We will always take my daughter to Lexi for our hair needs. Lexi, you’re amazing, and we are so thankful we found you. (I will post an updated review the next time lexi does her hair, and we have the right colors)

I had my first service at Ginger Bay this week and I was very impressed! Facility was very clean and comfortable. Shop area was so much larger than every other spa I had been to, I really appreciated that as I wanted to get some new Aveda products. Most importantly, my facial with esthetician Kelly was absolutely wonderful. Kelly was so kind and easy going, I felt really comfortable chatting with her about my skin concerns. Kelly adjusted the products she used to treat my specific needs and also educated me with quite a bit of knowledge on pores and products that would address my needs at home. The facial was wonderful and relaxing. I have already booked – and am very much looking forward to – my next appointment! I will also be scheduling other services there in the near future 🙂

I’ve been to a few “high-end” salons in the STL area, and I’ve got to say no one has ever listened to me like Brandon from Ginger Bay did. He gave me the exact color I asked for, the exact cut, and took his time EVERY step of the way. This was a very last minute appointment, as I came in for just a cut. But he had extra time due to a cancellation and asked if I wanted to get color too since I had made a comment about wanting to change my color eventually. I’m so glad! I didn’t actually realize that hair appointments could take this long – at other salons I’ve been to, cuts often seem rushed and often times, the stylists will book someone while the color is processing in order to jam as many people in as possible. This was not my experience with Brandon or Ginger Bay. He divided my hair into sections and paid painstaking attention to every detail in every section, every step of the way – brushing out, coloring, washing and conditioning, combing, cutting, drying, styling, and making sure it all matched up. I am grateful! I will be back!
