My friend came in, wanting her box dyed black hair to go back to her natural color which was blond. 2 hours later she came out with blond roots but the same color that she started with just a little lighter. The lady had not explained how long the process would be, she made my friend blow dry her own hair, told her she was wrong when the clerk said my friends natural color was light brown not blond. And tried to make her pay more money for her to stay longer to fix her mistake.

The best salon I have every used. Johnny listens intently to what I want and always makes me look younger and feel better about myself by the time I leave. He is an artist when it comes to cutting and designing hair. Love this place.

I went in with a request of bleaching my brown box dyed naturally blonde hair. I was told I could get the results of going back to blonde. She specifically said box dye was easy to remove. After 2 hours of bleach, nothing had changed, and she said the color was perfect. I went in asking to have my hair blonde, not brown with bleach blonde roots. I was expected to pay $120 for nothing done except my natural blonde grow out bleached and was even lighter. She also had me blow dry my own hair. She was nice and had a positive attitude except when I was confronting her about my concerns, she seemed to argue false claims. Luckily I had a friend go with me, with proof and pictures. In the end, I didn’t pay a dime because I was getting so frustrated and unhappy and I think she was getting the hint.

I love Gigi Salon and Spa. I’ve been going there for years. My wife and 4 kids are also regulars. Johny is the current owner and has always resolved any minor issues. Amarie is my current stylist and has been doing a fabulous job. I highly recommend.

Gigi Aveda is awesome! I don’t understand the negative comments! Not only are they great stylists and estheticians, but they’re polite, caring, attentive, and fun. Amaree, my stylist, is amazing. She’s works wonders with my hair – she’s cut it pixie short (cute!) and helped me grow it out without losing a style. And she’s a great colorist, always taking time to listen and collaborate. The frontdesk ladies welcome everyone with a smile. I’ve been a fan of Aveda salons for years, and was so lucky to have found Gigi!

BEWARE, if you wish to get your hair done at this “Salon” you might want to think twice. My wife went in to get her hair color changed to blonde and even showed the “stylist” a picture of what she wanted done. Her hair is not even close to the picture or close to blonde. It is a mixture of yellow, orange and brown. The lady who did her hair said she was one of the owners even. Not sure how this place is still open in West Linn of all places.
