I expressed this concern with her and she was very mindful and experienced when she rebraided my cornrows. Definitely will be coming back in a month.

****UPDATE: 11/01/2021–A “stylist” washed my medium length hair and then proceeded to rake through it with some type of round comb that fit in the palm of her hand. She pulled and snagged through my wet, tangled hair until she could see that I was wincing in pain. It looked like something you would use to groom an animal or baby doll. It was hard, round, and with less than 1/4″ inch teeth. I told her she was damaging my hair and that she needed to use a wide-tooth comb. She went over to GiGi who gave her one but neither of them said one word to me. In the comb I saw my hair—thin long strands attached to small clumps of hair. She offered no apology and neither did GiGi. ANYONE WHO WORKS WITH AFRICAN AMERICAN HAIR KNOWS THAT YOU NEED TO USE A DETANGLER AND A WIDE TOOTH COMB.

i did not get cool Braids and if your hair is short not much can be done “not happy with my real hair ” coffee?” I have very slippery hair so I will do braids and add extensions and hope this style fits my active life.
