I think I found my local spot for my daughter to get her hair braided. I don’t get my daughters hair professionally braided very often, but when I do, I now have a place not too far from my house. I so appreciate Gigi being able to accommodate us very last minute on the Labor Day Holiday. She gave us a same day appointment. Her work was great, and she didn’t braid my daughters hair too tight. We love the finished product. I took one star off because they didn’t have enough bead options so I ended up heading her hair myself, and also because we had an appointment for 3, then we were contacted and asked to come at 2 (I got the message late so my daughter and my sister actually didn’t get there till around 215ish), however she wasn’t available till about 3. Neither one of these issues are deal breakers but if I had known about the lack of beads we would have brought our own and would have been nice to save 45 minutes if they weren’t going to start until 3 anyways. I think her prices are competitive and on par for the braiding industry now. I encourage folks to definitely check her out!

From the time I called to make an appointment Gigi was very very welcoming with fantastic customer service. I first found her online and checked her Instagram page (@ Gigi braids and beauty) to see her work and I was very impressed. I was able to make an appointment for the next day and my hair was done just as I wanted it in record time as well. I love my hair so much and the price can’t be beat. Her place is also very neat and clean. No over booking and she treats her customers with respect. Trust me you will not get this type of service anywhere. There’s also very easy parking in a very SAFE neighborhood. Book her and you will not regret it. She is the best!

I won’t tell anyone to go to this hair salon . But! From my experience I won’t be going back, my hair is a mess my boyfriend didn’t like it. The owner second who did my hair I was very disappointed how she did it. My daughter has to redo it over for me .$130.00 was a waste!!!
