Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueGetNailed provided a really poor experience. I was disappointed by the lack of facial coverings worn by customers and employees. It did not make me feel the most safe amidst a global pandemic. It has been less than four days and my nails have already chipped and look worn. I would have appreciated a better application process. The previous polish I had on my nails was not taken off prior to this coat being put on my nails. My nails have started to crack since this new polish has been applied, and I’m disgusted at the lack of care given to me for an unreasonable price. My basic manicure was $25 for the low quality service I have ever received. I could have done my nails better for free. My nails were not filed or cut despite me asking for a little maintenance. In the future, I will go someplace where the value for money is appreciated. First time dropping by @GetNailed and it was a great experience. All the staff members are friendly, great atmosphere! I got high hopes this place its definitely gonna be location. I normally get my nails done at U7 nails on Chicago and Lake, but they were so busy today so I decided to try a new place. I would like a refund. My nails got done for $74.80 a full set of acrylics but were poorly done. My fingers are bleeding from having my skin shaved off instead of the excess acrylic the design was nothing close to what I asked for and they are chunky as well. I left the first time because I’m not used to calling people out on their mistakes, because yes I am that super nice customer/person. I told my friend and she convinced me to go back in and get them redone, I went in there again to get them fixed and the second time I went in, more of my skin got shaved off. I don’t even know if I had alcohol or water spritzed on my fingers because it burned so bad. My friend who recommended this place told me to ask for Tina and instead I got sent to the same lady who did my nails poorly the first time, only to have her do it poorly a second time. Instead of making a scene because I was so angry, I decided to kindly walk out and let the other customers continue to get their service done. I would simply like a refund to get these fixed somewhere else.

My first impression of the salon is that they were unprofessional. They definitely cater to their regulars and probably don’t care about making good impressions on new clients. I had an appointment and when I arrived no one seemed to know about it. The owner told a woman named Tina to work on my nail. I was excited because I actually followed her on social media, not thinking she would be the one to do my nails. I thought I was so lucky. Tina seemed to be on her way home though, which made it awkward. She ended up calling whoever she had plans with to tell them she was going to be late. Another person who worked at the salon was getting her nails done at the same time. She got finished early then about 20 mins into my session, she came to tell my nail tech that she (the coworker) just burned her nails from smoking weed in the back. She was laughing and being so loud. Like ok…why did you just say that in front of a customer? Anyway my session with Tina just got more awkward because as I was curing the polish in the light , she would leave for like 15 mins to go assist the other nail techs with the nails they were working on. The light on the machine would go off and I would just sit there….
