Had a wonderful experience here. Andrew cut my hair and did a great job. I have thick curly hair and steer away from getting a fade, so I’m usually pretty worried about going to barbers, but Andrew gave me a clean cut without turning it into a fade. Everyone was kind and it was an enjoyable time overall. Been looking for a good spot to get my haircut in the DMV for a while and I think I finally found it.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueGosh the only downside of posting this would be that Rosa might get more busy and harder to book with! But seriously. Georgie’s Barber is my favorite place to get my hair cut. It’s clean, it’s a really nice environment, and during covid, they have made the space feel safe and distanced. Rosa is the only one who has cut my hair, but I honestly can say that I have left each time feeling so glad I went, that Rosa really took the time and care to make my hair look good on me, and honestly, I’m just super satisfied with the whole experience. Gosh the only downside of posting this would be that Rosa might get more busy and harder to book with! But seriously. Georgie’s Barber is my favorite place to get my hair cut. It’s clean, it’s a really nice environment, and during covid, they have made the space feel safe and distanced. Very disappointing. I wanted to support a local business but the staff here made it ridiculous. My last cut was terrible. I need to get it cut again but don’t know if my hair has grown back enough to work with a correction. First, I tried to stop by for a 30 second look see and the staff stared at me through the locked glass door and did not acknowledge my presence. Second, I tried to make an appointment online but did not want to pay in advance. Finally, I called and was told that I would need to pay for a consultation. Have a good like folks.

Awesome place, good covid precautions and I got to watch part of Jaws during my haircut. As far as the haircut, it’s my most favorite that I’ve had in several years. I saw Elissa, who was super attentive, gentle and listened to my rambling explanation of what I wanted. Then she turned it exactly into what I wanted. Will 100% be back.

Great place to get a haircut. To the dads out there especially, spend a few extra bucks (55) and get yourself a haircut that you’ll actually get compliments for by barbers who really know what they’re doing. I have thick curly hair. I had Rosa…she was a fantastic conversationalist, laid back, and made me feel comfortable. My boys played pac man while they waited for me which was a big plus!
