Awesome barber shop. I tend to be critical of barbers and have high expectations. Stopped in after my long time barber moved and I can say the experience was exceptional. P did an incredible job with my cut after meeting me for only a few minutes. Max runs an awesome business, all the barbers are top notch. Price is fair. Atmosphere is laid back and welcoming. I unequivocally recommend GQ. Looking forward to an established relationship with these guys!

I have been going to GQ for over 3 years and never plan to go anywhere else. Max the owner is a great person and does many things for the local community. Through the pandemic Max was able to open safely, added the necessary safety measures to keep people looking great, and kept his employees working and customers happy through a difficult time. The best part of the changes was that he needed to add the online appointment system with the prepay. No waiting anymore, and your haircuts are smooth. You can cancel up to 24 hours before the appointment and the system is great for someone who wants to plan their haircut and get in and out. The staff is great and Max has a high standard who he has employed to maintain his level of quality. I have used Chelsey my whole time and she has been able to work my cowlick like no other barber I have ever had. I also love the fact they can use a straight razor for sharpening your haircut and even putting in a hard part. I always feel 20 years younger when I leave the shop and have never been disappointed. The shop is clean, well maintained, and I love all the donated patches displayed from local and distant service members from all over the country. If you want to support a great local small business and you like what I had to say, book online and become a member of the GQ family, because honestly when Max is there, he makes you feel like a member of the family.

Every time I leave a Barbershop in Northeast Philly, a hat goes on my head the moment I step outside, I drove a bit out of the way and left this place with a major boost of self esteem thanks to Nicole. Book with confidence if youre looking for a new stylist. She knows what you want and has amazing manners as well, that session will pass by quick. Much like finding a good car mechanic, its hard finding a good barber/stylist to hold on too and Nicole is one of those rare barbers/stylist.

Service was mediocre at best for $30. Good atmosphere and family friendly environment. You have to pay prior to booking your appointment which is particularly strange. I cannot say enough about how much we love GQ – especially Tyler! Haircuts usually turned into battles with many tears for my son. The minute my son met Tyler he sat nicely in the chair (on my lap) every single time. Tyler’s calm nature and ability to meet my son where he is that day is something I cannot thank him enough for. Tyler even put my husband’s first responder patch right near his station so that my son can point it out every time we are there. I love the online booking and prepaying option. I book a month out each time and never have a problem finding a date and time that works for our crazy schedule. I also love that the booking process adds the appointment right to my google calendar and sends me a reminder. I cannot thank everyone at GQ enough for the five star experience each and every time!

Getting my haircut at GQ reminds me of Disney World. Even before I went, I knew I’d love it. And after I went, I knew I wanted to go back. Minus the singing rats. Though, I think for enough money we could get Max to wear a dress and sing. The team of barbers are professional and give quality haircuts.

Before GQ, I was hopping from shop to shop trying to find the vibe that was right for me. I am comfortable at GQ because of their open-arms environment and relaxed vibe. May is an awesome barber and she gets me looking right every time. Even though I only go in once a month, everyone remembers me on a first-name basis and we pick right up like I was in the shop earlier that week. Max runs a tight ship and makes sure that everything is up to COVID CDC standards. Everything is cleaned and disinfected regularly. I really can not speak high enough of the service you receive when you choose GQ. I have been a loyal customer of Gentleman’s Quarters Barber Co since the day they opened and I really mean it when I say that you will not find better service at another barbershop. Before GQ, I was hopping from shop to shop trying to find the vibe that was right for me. I am comfortable at GQ because of their open-arms environment and relaxed vibe. May is an awesome barber and she gets me looking right every time.
