The gentleman’s studio feels like a barbershop should. Dave and Dray are great people and incredible barbers. Whether you want a fade, beard trim/shaping, or a low maintenance cut that will grow out well over time these guys have you covered. The shop is spacious and clean. The attention to detail is second to none. My favorite part is the straight razor finish. As someone who is married with kids its hard to get a compliment from my wife these days, but I always get one after visiting these guys.

Not only did I find someone who actually understands how to cut my hair well, but I found a place where I feel comfortable getting a haircut. My wife always cuts my hair,, but I work in Maine seasonally (live in northern California, and this year she couldn’t visit me). Hence I needed a haircut. Found a few places, but one wanted to charge $35, so they got the heave-ho. Called another place, they couldn’t see me for two days. So after some more research, I found Gentleman’s Studio Barbering. Dray, the gentleman who answered the phone, also the barber, was able to squeeze me in between appointments. Only had to tell him once how I liked it, and he got it. Did a perfect job at a very reasonable price! Additionally, we had a good conversation, which including places we’ve lived, sports teams we support – – and even when I had reason to mention my late dad (June 2018), he sincerely offered his condolences. One last thing – – my 23 year old son (visiting) had a question about his new beard. Dray was nice enough to talk to him for a few minutes to offer his insight!

Dave and Dray are both true professionals at what they do. Always personable and good conversations anytime you go in.
