Run by owner Liz for the last 17 years and located in Tremont near Lincoln Park, this barber shop now services men and women and has been growing with Tremont. Liz is great and is pictured below after finishing me up. It is reasonably priced and has a family run feel to it and now supports online bookings.

Bad service. They take appointments by the half hour which you have to confirm via text & it texts incessant reminders. Booked appointment weeks in advance, showed up today right on time. Barber double booked my appointment. I sat and waited 17 minutes, not one person acknowledged me to tell me it would be a while or acknowledged or the fact that I’m just sitting there with an overdue appointment. Ended up walking out and then got a text from barber after offering to give me a free haircut & that the guy whose hair he was cutting was supposed to be his 2:30 appt but instead came at 1:00. My question is — why would you agree to cut someone’s hair prematurely when you know you have another appointment scheduled at that time??? No matter what kind of atmosphere you think you’re creating, I promise you NO ONE wants to sit and chill at the barbershop, especially when they’ve scheduled an appointment. It’s absolutely miserable. Not to mention your hours are 9-5 during the week and closed on Sunday… people have jobs and are most likely scheduling time off work to pencil an annoying haircut within those ridiculously inconvenient hours. Respect people’s time… and keep the free haircut offer lol. I will not be coming back.

Stumbled upon this gem by chance 6 or 7 years ago. Haven’t gone to another barbershop since. I get my haircut every 2-3 weeks and have NEVER been dissatisfied with the results.

I can’t thank Ashley enough,my husband had been sick for awhile and wasn’t able to get his hair cut. He went in today and was pampered like a king. Face shaved, facial and face message and a perfect haircut! He feels like a million bucks!! Ashley and Liz know that men( just like us girls) really appreciate being pampered. I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you so much!

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI’ve never gotten a straight razor shave before and this was my first time getting one. The woman who did it for me was really friendly and she did a very good job. I even got 3-4 hot towels and I was thinking to myself in my mind like “Wow. More than one hot towel? That’s something you don’t always experience in most barber shops, especially when it comes to getting a shave.” I’ve never felt so relaxed. The solutions she used felt so good on my skin, especially this one exfoliant, which had a nice minty smell. As for the main part, the shaving cream was nice and warm and I felt so at ease when the shaving cream on the soft brush was applied to my face. After the experience, I was at ease. After she was finished, I was a little worried about how I was going to pay at first since I saw a few people paying with cash, but my worrying went away when I gave her my debit card and she swiped it through a credit card attachment on a smart tablet. The price for it was pretty decent. After all of that, I truly felt manly as I should be and my skin on my face has never felt so smooth.
