This review is on behalf of my wife. We have an important event to attend this evening. She had an appointment scheduled for 10.30AM this morning. However once she was there, she was told the stylist hasn’t come in yet. Finally she was asked to reschedule the appointment for 2PM. Then again at 1.15PM she receives a call that the stylist isn’t available. It being a Sunday and us having to leave in a couple of hours, we don’t have any other option but to go to the event without the scheduled haircut. This is completely unprofessional and I didn’t expect this from a brand like Gene Juarez. This experience alone has made me lose my trust on the brand especially with important events.

Sebastian is the best at what he does! He did my persian curly dark hair to blonde twice and i get lots of compliments on my hair since going here. He’s also super fast my last hairstylist was taking 6 hrs to do the same work, but he usually finishes up in 2.5hrs, and no spot is left behind. However I don’t like the front desk service they need to improve their front desk service they always miss up with my tip amounts, last time I wanted to leave a tip for higher amount but they heard it wrong and left only $15. Also I don’t like people who dry out my hair, first time the girl who did it she was new and she was pulling my hair a lot I had headache for 3 days, and last time I was there the guy who dried my hair he was a okaye no pulling , but he didn’t ask me if I want my hair straight or beachy waves, they always ask. Overall I’m only happy and grateful for Sebastian.

We called the call center to schedule a haircoloring appointment and the colleagues on the phone told us to come into the salon anytime for consultation. We arrived to the salon for a consultation and no one was available for consultation. Colleague in the call center had taken our information to book a 330p partial coloring appointment and failed to actually book the appointment. Terrible service and communication. A shell of the previous salon which we patronized for 20 years throughout our childhood in Bellevue. Terrible and will not repeat. Subsequently we received a call at 1a to confirm an appointment which we never scheduled. Appear highly confused at Gene Juarez.

I’ve gotten my hair cut here by January several times and today by Opal. I have extremely long (down to my waist), thick, and wavy hair. Every time I make an appointment they extend the appointment time to give ample room to wash, cut, and style all my hair. It’s definitely several handfuls! Each time I am treated kindly and warmly. Really love the service and the price is reasonable for the amazing service!

I had a horrible hair cut before and I decided not to ever go back there again. Then I booked a facial because I got a gift card and I couldn’t make the appointment because of the icy rods and appointment was booked not even 24 hours ago so they want to charge 92 dollars because no show. Please don’t use this place they just want your money.

The folks behind tbe counter are always welcoming and oh the spiced tea taste so good. Arrived thinking my appointment was within minutes and sat down to enjoy my tea. The wonderful gentleman who cuts my hair happened to pass by and said I was an hour early. Not sure why the girls at the front counter didn’t mention that at check-in but enjoyed my tea in the lobby. The spa is so much smaller and less posh than the previous location. Dont think I will indulge as in the past enjoying a spa day. The fabulous showers are gone. However my haircut and overall satisfaction regarding Vernon’s outstanding tallent is what will keep me coming back. By the way…its now 15 min past what they said was my actual appointment. Arrr.

Got my hair done a few months ago and even now it still looks amazing. I saw one of the newer colorist, Cami, and she explained the whole process so I understood. She gave helpful advice for at home care as I’m a college student on a budget. I only get home a few times a year so when I come back for the summer I’ll definitely see her again. She even gave a few suggestions for who to see for cuts.

I gave a hair donation toda y and my stylist Jocelyn was wonderful. We had good conversation and she gave me a really nice cut. The music in the hair washing room was really serene and relaxing. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and I recommend the salon wholeheartedly.
