Booked Cassandra as a hair stylist for my wedding party. I had not worked with Cassandra prior to my wedding planning. So, I’ll admit I was a little hesitant, especially because I only trust myself with my hair. I have course, lusciously curly hair. I would best describe my hair type as a blend of 3C and 4A. At the dry run I was very impressed by her ability to work with my hair and willingness to listen to me. I explained the techniques I use to manage my hair and what products work best and she listened. For the wedding she did a gorgeous updo. It was exactly what I wanted and held up the whole day (and even a few days after)! She and her girls did a great job with the whole bridal party. Would definitely recommend GEMS.
