If I could give zero Stars I would because the people at the front desk were absolutely incompetent. I had an appointment that I made and I drove all the way out to Chelsea from Ann Arbor and they told me that the woman who is scheduled to do my hair had gone home sick. I certainly feel bad for her that she was sick but you would think that they would at least write down the correct phone number so that they could get in touch with me. I will find another salon that has a more competent staff.

I was given a gift card of Feb of this year. I have tried to use the card 4 times now with no success. Twice for a massage package and received no calls back. Twice for eyelash extensions-1st appointment canceled due to the tech breaking her wrist. After waiting another 4 weeks for the appointment today was told several hours before the appointment that I could not use certificate after I was told by the individual who made the appointment that I could. It clearly states on the card. To be used as cash merchandise or services. I requested to speak to a manager who did come to the phone, but unfortunately would not give her name or the owners name and hung up on me. I called back and was told I could my name and number, however no information would be given out. Would love to have a conversation with the owners on phone etiquette and customer service.

I love this place I come here to get my hair and lashes done. Amanda does my hair as well as my son’s, she is always friendly and such a sweetheart. She is knowledgeable, hardworking and always does a wonderful job. I highly recommend Amanda for extensions as well, she is so gifted and simply marvelous! My son enjoys going to Amanda for his haircuts, he appreciates how gentle Amanda is and how she listens to what style he wants and likes!

It is simply laughable about how bad they messed up my hair. They gave me a completely different haircut then I had asked for. I asked for a messy in front, I had the right length and just asked for my sides to be cut. They proceed to cut my sides down to near nothing and for the top the continue to cut it shorter, once I noticed that they had already started to cut there was no going back. I ended up with a side part that was spiked up. I am so frustrated on how different this was to what I had asked for. I would expect this out of Great Clips not a decent salon.
