Created my perfect wedding nails, took a long time but ended up looking so nice. Kind of rude/blunt but they got the job done. Massage chairs were excellent. I wish I had looked up the service I exactly wanted because the menu they hand you was kind of tricky to digest and I picked the most classic pedicure which didn’t include the dry skin rub or calf massage but that was my fault.

I have been a satisfied customer here for over a year and I am so disappointed to see how the service is getting worst. I came in for a hard gel manicure. My mistake for not requesting one of the ladies who took care of me before. I got Nick, he put the wrong color on and was rushing so much. I picked white nail polish and he put unicorn blue on. I decided to be quiet and let him finish his work. Well 2 days later, the thumb nail fell off, then another, and by the 4th day 3 hard nails had fallen off because he was in such a hurry and didn’t let them dry properly. I went in and the receptionist said she would fix it. I waited an hour and she was too busy, so I asked for a refund and left. I was so disappointed! I had tipped Nick $10 and the pedicurist another $10 and paid $122 for a mani & pedi. The worst money I have spent on personal care.

I stopped going to Gem last August because the quality of manicures slipped. Decided to give Gem another shot and Autumn has been wonderful with acrylic oval nails ($60)! Love, love her! But Saturday I arrive and get assigned Nik who has an attitude, is painfully rough, and is terrible at acrylic short squared nails ($55). I mentioned this to reception (Aleana), that Nik cut me and was rough; she didn’t really care. If this place doesn’t care, why should I? I still tipped him ($8)… am I wrong for giving one star? (Oh, forgot to mention, as he was removing the old acrylic, the new nail tip container was open right underneath, falling right into the container. Not sanitary!)

The staff is amazing and very friendly. I get my lashes done every 2-3 weeks and I always get so many compliments on my lashes. My lashes are always full and I can be rough with them from time to time and they never fall out. If your looking for great lashes this is the place to go. Highly recommend! Eyelash extensions

Came here because I could ride my bike. Close to home. Terrible nail job. She drilled them so thin (my natural nails) then applied the gel which didn’t even cover my nails on the sides. They all started breaking within a week. The pedicure was ok, not great plus they couldn’t match the pedicure color to my nail color.Did not feel like they cared if they ever say me again.

Critical: Cleanliness, QualityI tried Gem after seeing good reviews on here, but I was extremely disappointed in the entire experience. The back counters were dirty, we could see the dust from our seats, which made us wonder if the towels were clean. Some of the staff were not wearing their masks properly which made me uncomfortable. The staff were not at all friendly. I tried talking to my nail technician and complimented her nails, and she ignored me. I later asked for another coat of nail polish and she said “no” and put it away. After the bad service, I was even more disappointed when my gel nails chipped and cracked in just 5 days. The back counters were dirty, we could see the dust from our seats, which made us wonder if the towels were clean. Some of the staff were not wearing their masks properly which made me uncomfortable.
