It’s a strange phenomenon with certain Geisinger clinic doctors. You tell them your symptoms. You even show them the issue. But what do they do? Instead of giving you their personal professional opinion, they look at your chart and follow the treatment plan of the last doctor you have seen in that department! Obviously there is a reason you are seeking a different opinion or else you would have seen the previous doctor again. I was told that an infection will go away on its own. The infection wasn’t even listed on my online notes with the doctor! No thank you! I can’t speak for every doctor in this department, but I would not recommend.
