I called ahead and was told to be there at 7pm for a massage, when I arrived I was told to come back at 8pm, so I did. I was put back in a room and told to get ready for the massage. When she came in and started massaging, she didn’t use any oil at first and it hurt pretty bad. She eventually started using oil on my back, but not nearly enough and the whole thing was very painful. I gritted my teeth and went through it because I thought “it’ll feel better afterwards, she’s just getting all the knots out.” It did feel better for the rest of the night (about 3 hours) and then I woke up extremely sore with bruising on my back that is clearly from the lack of oil. I was really excited about getting a massage since my neck and back had been hurting for weeks, but I rushed in to it and went to the only place open and available in such a short notice. I definitely should have waiting a couple days and just scheduled an appointment with another massage place!
