I had a great experience today. I went to the Northampton store of GBS brows and Mrs. Shilpa did my eyebrows and upper-lip threading. The lady was extremely sweet and friendly. She is very good at her job; my eyebrows look perfect! Not even a single cut. Thank you for the service, worth the money compared to other services around Amherst. I had an overall good experience.

Rushed through and didn’t sanitize before threading my eyebrows. The lady was being extremely forceful and so rude, don’t even waste your time coming here. I make sure I always tip for good service, and never have I ever left a review for anything until now just because of how terrible my experience was. I decided not to tip because she was being so rude and dismissive, and she goes “No tip?!?” Mind you, there was a lady behind me waiting. She makes you feel super uncomfortable the whole time and so out of place. She took about another 5 minutes to get the register working and after processing my payment, she then says again “So you’re not going to tip?” I told her the machine already processed my payment, there’s no going back and I don’t have cash on me. She then raises her voice and told me I could leave. Basically demanding me to get out. Never coming back here again & I suggest whoever is reading this to not go either. Save your money and go somewhere worth going.

Nobody knows how to thread except for UJALA !!!! They rush, they don’t even remove all the hairs, they mess up the shape. Please keep UJALA here permanently, she’s the best !!!!!!! Eyebrow threading

Critical: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismI’ve always had good experiences coming here but this past Wednesday will be the last time I use this service. My sister and I came in as walkins to get our brows cleaned up and the girl made a pretty big deal out of us not having appointments but insisted that she could do both of us before her next appointment. She proceeded to rush through both of our brows, never pausing to change the string that she used on my brows and used the same one on my sister. She also did not clean the scissors that she used to trim the brows. When it came time to pay we both had a coupon which we used and I tipped her based on the original amount but the girl said to us that we weren’t as “generous” with our tip because we had used a coupon which was not true.
