The absolute worst pedicure I’ve ever had in my entire life. The entire service was abusive. My nail tech was hitting me and slapping me to get my attention and made me extremely uncomfortable. I set there uncomfortable and wanting to leave the entire time. The entire time she was yelling at me and slapping my legs and feet saying to “relax or lay down”. My nail tech was also asking me over and over relax”. I spoke up and Said I was uncomfortable and would like to get up and leave and they ignored me and kept going. Towards the end, she yelled at me asking me to lift my feet up so she could grab her towel saying “ get off my towel”, and as I was lifting my legs she yelled at me once more so I said “ ok I heard you, I’m going”. And she yelled across thank you for coming today”. My mom and I asked the nail tech who was doing our manicures who the manager was and they just pointed. So at the end of the service at checkout we finally started to tell the “manager” and she told us that she didn’t see or hear that and she’s not going to lose money out of her pocket for he said she said and that she can’t do anything about it, and was yelling at us as well, and wouldn’t let us get a word in. When we told her we were very unhappy with the result and that We were not looking for a free service, more so to bring to her attention, the employees abusive and aggressive behavior and that we felt like she didn’t care, her response was “okay I’m not going to lose money” . She was still going on and finally I figured out she didn’t care so I said okay, we get it, you don’t really care. We then paid and walked out. This nail salon has a lot of potential but unfortunately it was hard to relax as I felt I paid to be hit, dragged around and yelled at for speaking up. If management doesn’t contact us, we will definitely be taking it further. I am a business owner myself, very involved in both the community and a huge supporter of local businesses. I hardly will write reviews or speak up, and anyone who knows me can speak for that and my character both. My mom as my witness, it was a horrible experience and feeling.

I absolutely love this place! It’s my stress relief and is so relaxing and rejuvenating . I’ve been coming here over a year and the workers are always so polite and respectful! Almost the worst experience with nail care in my life! Kinda new place, thought I’d check it out. Came out with ever nail looking different, flat and looked like someone sat boards on the tops of my fingers! Glue all under my nails and a bumpy finish! I tried to deal with it but when others started noticing I went back to see the manager/owner? Itried to show him the problem but all he did was argue with me that they looked fine! He said he would not refund my money or redo them but would reshape them. That helped a little but they’re still bumpy and terrible underneath. I’ll never return! If you go expect a bad experience if Nikki does your nails! One bad apple does ruin the rest for any other potential clients. Thumbs down!

This shop leaves their customers bleeding and refuses to even refund the service after causing physical harm resulting in infection. Under absolutely no circumstance would I consider using an establishment that treats customers this way, then harasses them for calling the shop out on its unsafe practices.

First time customer and absolutely loved it! This is the first nail salon in town where I didn’t have to wait a long time to get my turn , they automatically sat me down after I filled out the sign in paper. Michelle was very kind and gentle w me ! I also loved that I could read while in there, there wasn’t much chitchat going on. The salon was very peaceful and quiet. Cant wait to go again!!

This place is more than just a regular nail salon. They make you feel welcomed and comfortable. They are so kind, patient and really do want you to leave happy no matter what. I have never had a problem and never left feeling unhappy with any service I get done. IT’s hard to find a great quality nail salon in our area so thank you gateway nail lounge for always having my nails looking perfect❤️
