Positive: QualityMy first Dip experience was a few weeks ago at a different location and I was so unhappy with them. So much so I was a little worried about getting another set of Dip, maybe it just wasn’t my thing. Suki saw what my nails looked like and agreed they were done too thick. I told her what I was hoping for and she fully understood the assignment. I never knew my nails could look this good! I am seriously so grateful for the experience. Thank you so much Suki!! My first Dip experience was a few weeks ago at a different location and I was so unhappy with them. So much so I was a little worried about getting another set of Dip, maybe it just wasn’t my thing. Suki saw what my nails looked like and agreed they were done too thick. I told her what I was hoping for and she fully understood the assignment. I never knew my nails could look this good! I am seriously so grateful for the experience. Thank you so much Suki!! I cannot stop looking at my nails!!

Went here for the first time yesterday l, and these are the worst nails I have ever had. I was charged $58 for an acrylic full that looks like a child did it. The paint job is horrendous. The nails are thick and lumpy. I told the tech I was unhappy and she continued to tell me I was “all done”, I think because she had an appointment waiting. I sent a message over to the owner immediately stating my disappointment and was ignored. I called today and was refused a refund and hung up on. I would NOT recommend anyone to go here.

Very disappointed with my experience at this nail salon. First time there, I called days before made my appointment and showed up on time. As soon as I walked in I was impressed, place looked really nice and clean. I had a very brief conversation with lady up in the front before she asked me to pick up my color which I did. She knew it was my first time there, I had previously looked prices on their website but I wanted to check and make sure it was $88 for my services (gel pedicure and gel manicure) she proceeds to tell me it is $91. I was confused but didn’t say anything because I thought maybe they haven’t upgraded the website and those were new prices. Then right away they started working on my toes. This is hard for me because lady working on me was nice and I appreciate that but oh my God was she slow!!! It took her two hours and thirty minutes to do my toes and nails. I was very upset at that point because I’ve never spent this much time at a nail salon before and her work was sooo poorly done. Nothing special was done. My nails look very poorly and one of them already chipped. I still don’t say anything because unfortunately that’s my personally and so many of us don’t have the heart to make people feel bad and it always sucks for us so that’s why I am writing this review but also I just wanted to get out of there. It was 12:30 by then and my appointment was at 10. Anyway, she’s finally done, I go and pay and she tells me it’s $80. I’m more confused but I’m thinking maybe I was quoted wrong and she didn’t have to do as much. I go give her my card and they tell me cc machine is down!!! Mind you they did have a small sign up but I was asked to pick a color right away I didn’t get a chance to read every single sign up!! I was there for two hours and thirty minutes and nobody bothered to tell me they were only taking cash??!!! You knew it was my first time there and couldn’t update me about your machine?!! Ugh I’m angry I go to the atm I withdrawal $80 PLUS her tip. I go back and when I go back another lady checks me out and she says my total is not $80 it’s $88!!!! — me being me, I literally go back to the atm and got her the right money and tip but best believe I will never go back nor recommend your services to anyone.

Garden city nail is spa is wonderful the staff are very nice friendly I’ve been getting my nails dun by Tammy for 4 years now and she then opened her own salon n still travel from fallriver to RI because how wonderful they are there. Thank you again for my wonderful nails tammy

Critical: ProfessionalismI had a 3:30 appt for a gel pedicure. I decided to try them as it’s close to home.. Big mistake..The woman doing my nails could not have been trained at all. She clearly did not know what she was doing. I tried several times to get someone’s attention to take over. It was so disappointing and frustrating. It was as if she had never worked with gel before. She didn’t seem to even know how to hold a file or cut my cuticles.Couldn’t even get my old polish off! Another girl had to help.. Her coworkers could see, and had to have known she was struggling and not qualified to do my pedicure. One girl was even laughing at her and rudely going on in their language. Not funny or professional when it’s my money! I honestly don’t know how they stay in business. TWO hours later I finally left. I just wanted to get out of there at that point. Manager never had the courtesy to call me themselves when I called to tell them how horrible my experience was. They dumped it on the Receptionist to call me.I offered constructive criticism and they offered me a GC for $25. No thanks. I learned a lesson to never stray from my regular Salon. I will never return there. Shame on them for charging a client for such poor service. Not relaxing at all which is what I needed as I work hard. Do yourself a favor and find a more professionally staffed salon. There are too many great ones to settle for what I got today. I walked out speechless.
