Critical: Professionalism, QualityI went in for my first waxing session with Jen, and although she is a sweetheart, this was the worst experience i’ve ever had with someone waxing me. She used the same stick and strip over and over again, which was so unsanitary, and was applying the wax in the opposite direction of the hair; pulling it and did not rub strip before or after pulling it off my skin. she put me in the most uncomfortable and awkward positions to be waxed and would rip the strips so hard that i bruised instantly. i also was unable to ensure all the hair was off like she said it was because there was not a single mirror in sight. she was the only one able to see what she was waxing and still let me leave with patches of hair still on my body. it was so much money for such a job poorly executed. i later noticed the hair when i got home and called her back, to which she told me she had 15 minutes to fix it, when i shouldn’t have had to go back in the first place, i paid almost 200$ for something that should’ve been done correctly the first time. 0/10 would not recommend this service.I went in for my first waxing session with Jen, and although she is a sweetheart, this was the worst experience i’ve ever had with someone waxing me. When you walk in, you realize quickly that it is a converted house. The place is unorganized and doesn’t appear to be a professional spa. The waxer uses soft wax. She went over my skin so many times and still left a lot of patches of hair behind. I got no aftercare tips and I had to pay before the service, which isn’t something I’m accustomed to. I wouldn’t recommend it.
