Critical: Professionalism, PunctualitySo I called in the google posted barbershop today’s Friday. The call is for my son, he’s in high school they have a school dance tonight. He prefers a fresh haircut so we planned it for almost a week I called in earlier this week to verify hours and to just get a verbal feel for this place here at 544 Georgia st. Vallejo. The people who answered sounded busy and in a hurry so I thought ok no problem that doesn’t mean they are jack offs so I asked very quickly if I can make an appointment and they said walk in and hung up. So I still didn’t mind because I would hate it if a barber took a call when I was getting cut for distractions and messing up. Fun Side note as I’m writing this another customer just came to the door before 5 and walked away disgusted. Any how today I called again and again they were rude and dismissive so I still just came in with My son and the shop was locked I.heard someone inside and knocked and they were completely quiet even though their sign for business clearly states open till 5pm. Now I need to scramble around to find my son a quick skin fade.. and this shop was a referral by a friend of my sons and posted on social media. I have my own business myself and I would never talk too, treat or show the kind of unprofessionalism they showed throughout this week. Small business is crucial for communities but not like these kinds of small business.
