Don’t go here.I went in for a dark rooted, caramel balayage, I showed a photo of exactly what I wanted so there would be no miscommunication.My hair was a solid dark brown color so the job should have been simple but my stylist, Sam, somehow bleached all of my hair.There were several red flags that indicated Sam was inexperienced. She began with asking another stylist if she was supposed to use lightener for a balayage. Her foils were sloppy, she was flustered and unorganized. At one point she wiped bleach from her glove into her own hair. Half way through the bleach processing she came back to re-wet the bleach in the foils.. a sign she didn’t saturate the hair with bleach during the first application so it began to dry out.When it rinsed out/ toned the first time we blow dried and my hair was patchy and YELLOW/ORANGE.Sam had another appointment so she handed me over to another stylist to fix her blotchy, yellow mess and then blow dried my hair after it was toned again.Sam blow dried my hair for a second time and it’s still a yellow inconsistent disaster.I expressed my displeasure to Sam and without saying anything she grabbed the owner, Michelle and another stylist Angel.I showed Angel and Michelle the same photo I showed Sam and they claimed it was an easy fix.After we toned and rinsed, for a third time, Angel blow dried my hair. In the dark, basement like lighting of the salon it showed up as a honey brown color, still all the way to my roots and not what I asked for but I could live with it.I paid and finally left after 4 hours. Right after leaving I went to Ulta and finally got a good, fully lighted look at my hair and I was devastated. My hair was a dry, lifeless dull brownish/orange color and I hated it. My ends are so dry from the bleach.The shop had already closed as it was Saturday night but I had a wedding to go to the next night so I had to find another salon on a Sunday to fix what Galaxy hair allowed me to leave with. I waited until the following Tuesday, when the salon opened after the weekend, to call and ask for my money back.I was followed up with by Michelle, the owner, who insisted I needed to provide a receipt as proof that I had to get my hair re- done somewhere else. I sent her a photo of the receipt and went in the following Saturday for the refund.I commend the shop for giving me my money back but needless to say, I will never be returning.If you value your hair.
