Loved the atmosphere and the ladies that assisted with my nails. Very kind and they weren’t trying to up price for everything. The only thing I would have to say I was dissatisfied on was my dip manicure only lasted 5 days which at other salons it typically will last over a month

I chose this salon because of a) its organic products, b) its quiet zen like atmosphere. I am not fond of the packed full salons, that are loud and having to listen to people talking on their phones right next to me, it is annoying. But that is my issue, hence my choosing Gaia. However my last two visits were different and not in a good way. These two visits the person(s) who did the pedicures seemed in a hurry, then one of them jabbed my big toe which started bleeding (and was sore for a few days). The rest of my toe nails were not cut as short as I preferred. Then the nail polish; appeared ok when I left but two days later it was wearing off and chipping. Finally the salon was busy (good for them) but the girls were running around and everything seem rushed and loud! People and employees talking loudly and customers talking on their cell phones, I mean really do you have to???? But that is not the salons fault.

Never in my life have I had to pay 20 dollars for gel polish their book said 45 they never once told us that the gel polish was 20 dollars or I would’ve went somewhere else.. they were very rude and seemed like they were talking about us the whole time. My pedicure doesn’t even look like it was worth 65 dollars… so yeah highly don’t recommend this place….

I have been patronizing Gaia since they opened here in Benicia. I have noticed that the level of service has declined the last several times and it has nothing to do with Covid. My friend and I arrived for our appts on time. We were not greeted by anyone for several minutes although there were at least 4 staff who saw us enter. We were finally prompted to the chairs and waited for 20 min with our feet in very cool water without anyone acknowledging us. There were no apologies for the delay and both women appeared very rushed. It was the absolute worst pedicure I have ever had there. My person appeared to be upset she was working. She rushed through every step and didn’t even bother to put my sandals back on for me. I am so disappointed. The last time I went for my eyebrow waxing, the woman answered the phone during my waxing and left the door open so I could hear the dryer cycling and proceeded to have a conversation during my treatment. I hope that Gaia ownership will take notice that their customer satisfaction is how they will maintain their business.

They did not want to apply powder and gel so I said I would just get a gel manicure. When I went to pay they tried to charge me $10.00 more than the price listed. I asked why they said he took more to take my polish off. I asked why they didn’t tell me ahead of time. I get my nails done all the time and have never run into this before. I told them it was not right to do this and I would not pay the extra. The women basically tried to humiliate me. I simply left and let her know I would write this in a review. was great pedicure and manicure. I did email them from their website after I got home from vacation to ask for a touch up price for my toenails and have yet to hear back from anyone there. it’s been at least a week maybe longer.

It was my first time there and I was very pleased! The worker were friendly. The ambiance in the pedicure room was excellant with dimmed lighting. The workers had spotlight lighting. I had the cucumber pedicure, very nice! Cucumber and rose petals in the soaking water and they use warmed stones to massage your legs. The massage chair hit all the right spots. Also, the covid protection measures are impeccable. Masks and shields in front of every customer. Great job!
