I’ve been coming to Goat for the past year or so and usually I book out of necessity. I typically just pick the soonest appointment with whoever is available. It’s almost always been great. A few months ago I had an appointment with Shay. Best cut I’ve had at Goat. The next time I set an appointment, I randomly got Shay again at a completely different location. Lucky me. She’s amazing. I’m only ever booking with her moving forward. The cut is always clean and quick. She super friendly and really fun to chat with. Shay, thanks for always making me look good.

I’ve been getting my haircut here for about a year now. It was hard to find a place that I wanted to stick with since moving to SLC back in 2019. I love the atmosphere, and I love that they offer free drinks and snacks! On top of finding a great location, I have found a great barber in Matthew. I always come back for him to cut my hair. Matthew does a great job, makes sure I’m liking the haircut as we go on, and is so great at making me comfortable. He’s a people person for sure. He also has a great attitude when I point something out to him on my haircuts that I would like done differently! That’s hard to find. I’ll keep coming back, and I’ll keep asking for Matthew!

I came in for my appointment on time and ended up waiting an hour until the receptionist asked when my appointment was set for and apparently it was deleted from their system. Haircut was great. Came in the following week, planning my day around this haircut and waited 10 minutes before I was told the stylist called off and they can’t take me. Nothing was done to try and make it right, noone tried to get me in at a later time, just a, “I’m sorry, we can get you next week.” I normally am patient and can understand issues like this but to not even get a call…. I am just frustrated.

Everytime I come to Goat, Matthew J. gives me great haircuts everytime! He’s been cutting my hair for over a year now and I’m always satisfied after every session. My coworkers, wife, and friends compliment my hair more often and it really reflects the service Matthew provides. I know his other clients are just as satisfied with the quality and attention he gives. I’ve never had barber ask me how my hair looks during the process as much as Matthew has. Highly recommend

I wish Upper Management knew how to treat their barbers and make them happy to keep the great barbers they have had at one point. I keep switching barbers and locations because every great barber has left due to not being appreciated by Owners and Corporate. “This is based on barbers comments and horrible experience working at G.O.A.T.
