Critical: QualityAs you can see from my review history, I only give 5 stars. So in order for me to write a negative review, my experience would have to have been completely horrible. And this experience was by far the worst Salon experience in my 20+ years of going to Salons. I am a mix of African American and Caucasian and have naturally curly hair. I’ve spent the last two years putting zero heat and babying my hair with masks, oils etc so my curls could be at their healthiest- and prior to going to this salon, they were! I have attached pictures so you’re able to see the before/after. I went in last Friday for a Balayage treatment and haircut. Not only is my hair ruined (no curl pattern, extremely fried/dry and damaged looking), but I left the salon looking completely crazy (pictured attached) and was the laughing stock of my friends/boyfriend that day. They didn’t believe me when I said I just left the salon. All said I needed a refund immediately because the way my hair looked was unacceptable. Fried and frizzy. I called to ask what happened- why did I leave with my hair looking worse and far more damaged than before I came in? 2 years of hard work down the drain. Fast forward to today. I’ve washed my hair a couple of times since the appointment and used a few hair masks hoping my curl pattern would return. But it’s still extremely dry and brittle. What happened? What went wrong because something clearly did? It feels like someone literally held a flat iron to my hair and burned it off. I called today to ask for a refund for the entire service and expressed how dissatisfied and unacceptable this is. Her reply was, “Courtney will give you a call on Friday to fix it.” Why would I let someone who completely damaged my hair touch it again? A full refund sounds like the least they could do to make it right. But instead, I was offered a refund solely for the haircut. (Does it even look like I got a haircut?) Selena at the front desk (with short, straight hair) added, “I understand your frustration.”Do you? Did you spend 2 years bringing your curly hair back to life only to have it ruined by one of your employees within a matter of hours? So women with curly hair, BEWARE of this place. Especially if you take good care of your hair and have a nice curl pattern. You will leave looking like the pictures below and when you circle around to have them at least refund you for destroying your hair, you’ll most likely get a reply from someone without curly hair informing you “they understand your frustration” and kick you to the curb like another number. Absolutely horrible experience.Services: Hair coloring, HairstylingAs you can see from my review history, I only give 5 stars.
