I recently brought my daughters ages 3 & 5 to Funky Strandz Hair Studio to get their hair braided and it was such a great experience. Not only does everyone there make you feel at home and welcome but Wynda did such an amazing job on their hair. I love that the braids aren’t too tight, but secure enough that they will last. She was professional, patient and interacted with the girls in a way that made them feel comfortable. Even when they got restless and whiny, she was so reassuring and kind. They’ve been talking about her non-stop and they absolutely love their hair. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend Funky Strandz for all your hair needs!!

This is one of the best salons I have been too, moving to a new city it hard to find a salon that can take care of natural hair. I have never ben dissatisfied with my services. The salon is clean and everyone here is nice and knows what they are doing. My hair has grow a lot since coming here and the healthiest it has ever been in years. I had my hair done at Funky Strandz about a week ago and my beautician and her assistant were both great. My hair style was cute, I’m not sure if you call the hairstyle coils or twist, but either way it was cute. I knew the style wasn’t going to last very long., but the stylist told me it should last at least 3 weeks as long as I keep my hair wrapped at night. Now, here is where I had a problem. I have very short hair. You can barely roll it. Now, I did asked the beautician to color my hair as well as trimming it evenly and lining it up. Ok, I got the color, I also had a wash and conditioning done. My hair was trimmed but it wasn’t trimmed evenly. I did not get my lining because the Stylist told me I didn’t need it due to the hairstyle I had. So, I was like no problem.

Shema did a great job on my daughters hair. After a couple days at the waterpark, she needed her hair washed, conditioned, blown out and straightened. Ishema did a great job! I’m very happy with her service and my daughter feels beautiful! Hairstyling
