The conversation with her not only changed my opinion and my review it also was one of the best customer service experiences that I have had in a long time. Katrina apologized and explained the spa’s business hours and the newness of the website. Her sincerity was genuine and appreciated. I am looking forward to my visit.

I first visited Fundamentals spa in 2003. From the moment I walked in, I was handled with professionalism and class. It is a very tranquil place (I promise I’ve had the best naps there during my services). Before I had my children, I was a constant regular and never once had a bad experience there. Even during my pregnancy I was handled with care. Everytime I visit there, it always feels like home. The prices are affordable, and it simple smells wonderful and feels peaceful. EVERYTIME!! This place is a hidden gem that everyone woman needs inn their life! Wish I could go more often like I used to.

I bought the groupon that included 3 massages. The massage experience for the first 2 sessions were very good. Ramell, who was the only one available on Saturdays, was a great masseuse. Placement of hot towels during the massage was something unique that I really liked. My last session was booked before my groupon expires, but she had to cancel due to a family emergency. I was already at the place waiting at a locked door when I received a text message of this after I got there. I tried to be sympathetic and understanding, even though I wasn’t notified earlier before I drove all the way there, so I let this go. It took me numerous times to contact and rebook my appointment. I left messages only to have nothing returned. Seemed the only way to book my next (and last) appointment was through the online web site. I’ve set the appointment on the Saturday of labor day weekend, since I would like to end my busy week with a relaxing massage. I’ve got confirmation emails and texts of the appointment the day of. At this point, my groupon was expired since my last appointment was cancelled on me and couldn’t get a hold of anybody during the elapsed time to reschedule my appointment, so I called several hours before my appointment to confirm if I can still use the groupon and to avoid any confusion when I arrive. Of course, nobody answered, just left a voice mail. 30 mins before my scheduled appointment, Ramell called me back about the groupon. She said it was expired and I could only use it as credit towards the massage. Even though I reminded her that she cancelled on me and I couldn’t get any other appointments until now, it didn’t change the fact that my groupon was expired and would only be used as $45 credit towards the $90 massage so I had to pay $45 extra for my last massage. I didn’t want to argue about it so we I figured ok fine, I’ll just pay for it since I needed the massage. So I agreed to pay the extra $45 and had the appointment confirmed. I arrived 10 mins before my scheduled appointment time, went for the door – locked. Knocked, no answer, there was nobody inside and no other cars were in the parking lot. I called back to see what’s going on but no answer. I waited 15 mins after my appointment in front of the door thinking this could be another “family emergency,” but still nothing, no notification or call. I called again, no answer. I was very upset and disappointment at this point and decided not to waste my time and just got out of there.
