Earlier this year I was told to go see Robbie by my boss. Going in the first time I was extremely nervous because I’ve only had my hair cut by 2 other people in my life. So this was a big really big deal to me. I sat down in his chair almost immediately Robbie’s confidence and bubbly personality really relaxed me. That allowed me to take in the experience and thoroughly enjoy it.

I’ve been Robby’s customer for years- following him from his last shop to his new business Fru Fru in charming Fall Creek. He is an absolute gem and oh so talented. I have very thick (can be frizzy) curly hair and he has managed to tame it with an incredible cut and by recommending amazing products that I use religiously. I’m thrilled I have Robby here in Ithaca- he’s as good if not better than hairdressers I’ve used in big cities I’ve lived in. Robby knows hair- he understands color and texture and gives cuts tailored to the customer and the hair. Cannot recommend him highly enough. And, he’s a sweetheart- lots of fun. Go and enjoy!

Robby Brown had been my guy for several years at a well known salon. I switched to him because I liked his energy and felt he could help update this mid-fifties lady. Now, he’s struck out on his own! Robby’s hung out his own shingle, right in Fall Creek.✂️ It was never a question to follow him. He knows how to work with my fine, thin hair, helping me look good vs frumpy – sometimes I’ve been given an edgy (for me) look for a fun workable update. Plus, he does my eyebrows.

Came in today for a keratin treatment and hair styling and loved the experience! Robby is super knowledgeable about product and all kinds of hair types and his blowout and style of my now super smooth feeling hair has been getting me complements all day.
