I didn’t go in for a Medical Pedicure, which Janet can also provide, but got advice based on her expertise with Medical Pedicures. It also makes me feel more confident that I am receiving a manicure and pedicure that is done in a clean environment and with best hygienic practices.Highly recommend getting your manicure and pedicures with Janet. With Janet’s help, I am getting my calloused and cracked heels addressed.Janet is very knowledgeable and took good care of my feet. Though she has extensive industry experience, I never felt lost or intimidated by the information she was sharing. She explained what is happening with my feet, and the steps we are taking to resolve those issues.The spa itself is one suite within a group of suites. Her spa is welcoming and comfortable, with great background music. I just experienced my first ever pedicure (medical pedicure). My feet have not felt this good in years! With Janet’s help, I am getting my calloused and cracked heels addressed.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, PunctualityI am a 66-year old, morbidly obese diabetic. Until I became Janet Hogan’s client I had never had a pedicure, unless you count me using bolt cutters to trim my own toenails after they shredded my socks (and, sometimes, shoes). A couple of years ago, my doc suggested I get a “medical pedicure” and some googling connected me to Janet. My formerly calloused, scratchy, thick-nailed toes are now fungus-free, smooth and minty-fresh.Janet is not your standard-issue “nail tech.” She approaches the job as a medical professional. She is meticulous about both her sanitation regime and her footcare technique. She takes great pride in her work and it shows. She is also friendly, fun, and brings a wealth of artistic and other life experiences which enrich her conversation and her work.Via Gift Certificate, I convinced my 30 year old son (with foot odor so strong it garnered complaints from cockroaches and caused geese flying at 1500 feet to swoon and drop from the sky) to seek treatment from Janet. She conquered the foot odor in one visit. (Though on-going patient self-management is required, aided by the excellent foot care products she recommended.)Janet is now in a new location in Glen Ellyn in the “Pete’s Grocery” shopping area on Roosevelt Road just a stone’s throw west of I-355. There is ample free parking and No-Steps access to her salon in the one-level building. Until I became Janet Hogan’s client I had never had a pedicure, unless you count me using bolt cutters to trim my own toenails after they shredded my socks (and, sometimes, shoes).
