I recently went here for the first time and it was a fantastic experience. It’s always a little scary getting your hair cut by a new person, but I was lucky enough to work with John, and he was amazing. So nice, very easy to talk to, and a master at cutting hair! It was my first time getting my hair cut dry and it came out so well, I absolutely love it. The salon is gorgeous with an amazing water view and everyone I came into contact with was so nice. I will definitely be back!

Let me start with the venu itself it’s beautiful and well put together. I felt like royalty as soon as I walked in, the owner was so nice knowing it was my first time and questions to cater on what my hair needed. LOVED MY EXPERIENCE

I walked into Fringe looking like a swamp monster out of OG Scooby Doo. My hair was way too long, and it looked very thin. Scott took great care of me. He gave me exactly what I asked for, and was so kind and personable throughout the experience. He cut probably 8 inches off my hair, gave me layers, and angled curtain bangs to plump up my hair. I also enjoyed the view of the Salem harbor while getting my hair cut and styled. 100% recommend. Thank you Scott!

I went to Fringe for the first time a few weeks ago. I love my cut and my highlights are the best I’ve ever had! Joe really took time in making my hair look great and I’m really happy with it. It was expensive, but as a special treat, it was definitely worth it! The space is beautiful and everyone was friendly and responsive. I have curly hair and am very particular about trying new places. I highly recommend it for curly folks!

Critical: Quality, ValueI have been coming for a couple years to have my hair cut and have been mostly happy with the work of Adriana. However, lately with the last few cuts, I’ve noticed her work hasn’t been good… there are uneven lengths, holes in the layers, and I have been talked out of the type of haircut I want several times. For example, when I want higher layers in the back and shorter fringe in the front, I am given long layers and told it looks better this way. I think paying $75 for cut that is lacking in technique and not even what I’ve asked for is wrong. The solution I’ve been given is to continue working with Adriana or pay more money to get a cut from a more experienced stylist.
