First visit there. Stylist asked if I wanted toner, she didn’t talk to me about the color, just applied it. She did redo it when I said I was unhappy. Haircut, especially the bangs very uneven. When I went back to have it fixed, the woman at the desk laughed at me and then mocked me when I insisted someone fix it. The person who fixed it put my glasses lenses down on the counter, lucky to not get scratches on them. Very disappointed and will never go back.

Went in for a simple bang trim for my 5 year old. She had Carla and Carla was just plain rude. She did the “trim” and when I said that it was uneven, she told me that’s because she texturized the bangs so they wouldn’t just be straight. I said that I didn’t ask for the bangs to be texturized, I just wanted them trimmed. She proceeded to texturize them more, the whole time lecturing my daughter because she wasn’t sitting still (she’s 5 and no other hair stylists have had an issue with her). When she was done I told her that they were still uneven and frankly looked weird because she took too much off. She told me that it was my fault that they were too short because I insisted she cut them more. I said that they were uneven and that’s why I wanted them “cut more”. She just said, okay we’re done took the cape off my daughter and brought us up to the counter and left (now my daughter still has uneven bangs and they’re too short). I emailed the owner who said she was out and she would have the manager call me. The next day the manager called and I told her what happened. Her response was that I should be clearer if I just want a trim instead of texture. She said that she would address my concerns with the owner and Carla, but never actually apologized for the bad experience. The whole thing felt like a brush off. I will say the one bright side was Paula at the desk. She was very nice and my daughter really liked her. Overall though it was just a bad experience and we won’t be back.

Fringe salon is relaxing, inviting and friendly! I always feel like I’m catching up with an old friend during my appointments with Laura! Not to mention that she’s always spot on to the coloring or cut that I want. Every time I’m in for my appointments I’m happy with the results!
