I hate to do this but, I got the most expensive pedicure, they told me my nails were dry and sent me on my way. I found this an hour later (I had slip ons at the time, but we get pedicures in winter with shoes on so it’s not my fault I didn’t wear sandals to the salon). Nails aren’t even either. I already picked up my son when I saw the mess. This was my first pedicure in a year and it made me do sad. I had to pay for a babysitter just for this appointment too. Tomorrow I cannot go back or the next day because I have to go to my moms funeral and she always liked my nails purple. As a stay at Home mom too who never treats herself, that too alone is disappointing. I couldn’t take my son into the salon after I picked him up because he was tired and no one would want to hear a screaming toddler who needs a nap. So idk why they said it was dry when clearly it was not.

I normally don’t like posting bad reviews because I hate being that person. But honestly I’ve never gone to this salon before so I don’t know if maybe this was just a freak occurrence or what, but I got a gel manicure here yesterday and it was the WORST manicure I’ve ever received. And I’ve unfortunately received some pretty bad ones before. Firstly, I don’t have the best looking nails so I understand there’s only so much you can do. But I got a light lavender color and even after 3 coats it looked so patchy you could see the nail underneath in some spots and there were bubbles on some nails? Fine, whatever. My nails aren’t great, like I said, and it was a mediocre paint job but I was in a hurry so I paid for it and just accepted it. So I got it done that morning and by 10pm that evening 2 whole nails had come off like the gel came off in an entire sheet… not even 12 hours after putting it on. The following day 2 more come off in full sheets. So not only did it not look good to begin with, it also is now already peeling off and chipping. Now you may be asking what I was doing in that 12 hours that made it peel off and chip. Literally the only things I did with my hands all day other than just sitting there was simply washing dishes. The staff were nice, so I’m not leaving a bad review for their customer service. But the manicure itself was terrible and very disappointed I paid $40 plus tip for it.

I made an appointment for 6pm. I arrived on time. I was moved from the waiting area to a chair where I waited longer. It was 35 minutes passed my appointment. When it was finally my turn, it started off good. Then it slowed WAY down. It took well over an hour to do a fill with gel polish….something that has usually taken 40 minutes. The tech attempted the design of a couple simple lines…they tried a few times, but it didn’t look that decent. After the 3rd try they got the one design semi decent so we rolled with it. Went to do the other one and it was a mess…they don’t look similar at all. After 2 attempts I told them let’s just scratch it and go all black. They asked for one more try…so I said ohhhhk. I’ve already been in the salon for almost 2 hours at this point and I had stuff to do yet. I let them finish the job even though it was blah. I left and I could still feel a little roughness on my nails, there was residue on my skin yet. They didn’t charge for the design….good. The next morning I could feel a bubble on my thumb nail…after a but I looked closer at it and IT’S PEELING. I immediately called the salon. I am not in the Marshfield area, I will not have time to come in to fix it, and I’m leaving town for the weekend. They told me I moved when curing….UM WHAT? They are moving the blame of their inexperienced nail tech to me and saying I moved? You can see little bubbles on that thumb nail. I asked for a partial refund as I cannot come in. They told me “you want me to refund for two nails when you moved during curing”. I said “I see how this is going and hung up”. I will not be blamed for their mistake. I’ve had my nails done monthly for 3+ years and this has not happened…especially in less than 24 hours.

Took two hours to get a full set, the tech was beyond slow and the nail drill slipped onto my skin multiple times, and she used a nail clippers to clip my real nails except she got my skin a couple times too. I got acrylic and she globbed it on extremely thick. She was very nice but definitely inexperienced. Overall the nails came out okay they are very thick and uneven though.

My last visit SUCKED. the worker was so rude, and it hasn’t even been a week since I got my nails done and one of them already broke because when he was applying them he didn’t add enough glue to make sure it stuck properly.
